"A pleasant small hotel in a sleepy small town which has a massive Hogwartsesque abbey by the river. A very pleasant place for a short visit. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant."

"A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year."

We really enjoyed our time here, the bed was one of his not the most comfortable that we have slept on in the two months that we've been on the road. The staff was welcoming and friendly. "At first there was a bit of a mixup regarding accommodation but the owner went out of her way to rectify the situation & was more than helpful. Had a very nice meal at a local restaurant Contine. The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. Thank you."
