"For the price we paid this hotel was excellent value. Entrance to hotel is smart and modern, very helpful staff. Our room on top floor was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. Good location - underground and buses all nearby. Would certainly choose this hotel again for short stays in London."

"The rooms smelt like egg, we were on the top floor to begin with which was awful to get up to. The stairs are a killer and very windy. We then complained about our room and first felt like we weren’t believed and the boy receptionist came to check our room and finally believed us. We got moved to the first floor with two separate beds which we weren’t to pleased about. In the morning got up to shower and the shower smelt like egg again, we packed up our stuff and left early disappointed and a bit disgusted. It is near some shops however the egg smell really put us off going back to this hotel "

"Great location and friendly staff. Directly across from Hyde Park and close to tube stations, restaurants and shops. Easy for touring London and even when heading out to shows in the evening. "

"Room was very clean. The staff were friendly. Room we had was in the basement, which was fine, however, some light was able to shine through the bedroom window at night. Another issue is that the bathroom sink did not drain the water away properly. "

"Firstly, the location of the hotel was perfect. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the tube station. "

"The rooms were clean and they had a nice balcony. There was no kettle in the room, but there is a free hot drink machine in the lounge. Staff were extremely helpful and the nearby amenities were good. There is two tube stations about a 10 minute walk away and there are loads of bus stops nearby."
