I was satisfied with this hotel. It's very clean, free parking, great stuff, excellent breakfast! The only problem (a little problem actually) was the window which can't be opened, only a little, and air conditioning didn't work properly.

My family and I enjoyed the decor of the Base Hotel. The staff went above and beyond when we needed a cab back on Sunday evening and the cab company was not responding. They were also responsive to our needs prior to and during our stay. The hotel can improve on informing you from the start that the items in the mini fridge are not included in the price. My family and I also had minor skin rashes from the bedding which resolved on their own after our stay there. The room was smaller than advertised and the breakfast included had a decent selection of food items. I accidentally left my travel buddy behind and I reached out to the hotel to reclaim it, but the hotel has not responded. The hotel is close to an array of outlets and the shopping experience was fun.

This is not 4* at all. Woke everyday at 8am by the cleaners banging. Manager was shouting at guests in public. The room safe didn’t work, the room was very small and I’d say 2-3* at best. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Transport is very expensive to go anywhere and it’s very far from Venice city.
