The place was beautiful. Steps from the beach and ocean. Lovely rooms with aircon. The food was fantastic and varied. Evening entertainment was excellent and enjoyable. The staff are incredible. They are so helpful, accommodating, warm and welcoming. Everything was spotless. We loved our stay.

From the second we arrived, this place was stunning! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a beach front bungalow, which was a lovely treat and made our stay even more special. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, so well cared for, clean and full of lovely little touches. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels, and bedding changed every few days. Plenty of hot water, a really good shower and drinking water provided in the room every day. The Maasai staff were amazing. Always friendly, welcoming and made us feel safe throughout our stay. The restaurant team and reception staff were also incredibly helpful. The pool is small but clean and peaceful, perfect for a quiet dip. The beach itself isn't really suitable for swimming, but it's stunning at all times of the day. One of our favourite finds was the sandbar about a 15-minute walk to the right along the beach. It was quiet, with only a handful of tourists, and we actually preferred it to Nakupenda! Breakfast was pretty good, with a buffet on most mornings, a decent selection and fresh fruit every day. We ate dinner at the hotel a few times and really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty, and reasonably priced too. One thing worth knowing is that the hotel doesn't serve alcohol due to religious reasons, but guests are welcome to bring their own for private consumption in their rooms. We'd happily recommend Tanzanite Beach Resort

Abbiamo soggiornato al Tanzanite Beach Resort ad Agosto 2026 e nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene. La posizione è uno dei punti di forza: è molto tranquilla e permette di godersi il mare e il relax, lontano dal caos e dalla confusione di Nungwi e Kendwa. Con le basse maree vicino al Resort si apre una bellissima lingua di sabbia (a circa 15 minuti di camminata sulla spiaggia), poco battuta rispetto alle spiagge più blasonate. Verso metà pomeriggio la marea si alza e non si riesce a fare il bagno ma la struttura ha la piscina. Il resort è piccolo e questo lo rende particolarmente piacevole e rilassante, ideale per chi cerca una vacanza tranquilla. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la cucina, soprattutto i piatti à la carte, davvero molto buoni e curati. Il personale è sempre stato disponibile e gentile, anche nel venire incontro alle nostre richieste, cosa che abbiamo sicuramente apprezzato. Unico piccolo aspetto da migliorare è il servizio relativo alle camere, in particolare la gestione del cambio degli asciugamani e della pulizia, che potrebbe essere un po' più puntuale. Nel complesso, però, la nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva e consigliamo il Tanzanite Beach Resort a chi cerca un soggiorno tranquillo, rilassante e lontano dal caos delle zone più turistiche.

Pontos positivos: equipe é muito gentil e atenciosa, local bem seguro e tranquilo a vista é linda Pontos negativos: devido a localização do hotel após a maré subir não tem como acessar a praia e quando a maré tá baixa também é difícil de tomar banho de mar, porém na maré baixa se formam bancos de areias lindos a alguns metros de distância mar a dentro, as refeições são bem singelas.

Fantastiskt ställe med nära till trevliga och bra restauranger! Maten på hotellet var inte jättebra och frukosten var bristfällig och sparsam. Rummet var perfekt, rent och fantastisk utsikt! The housekeeping was exceptional. The staff were kind. Views were phenomenal. However we did not have a shower head that worked properly. After three attempts in reporting it and nothing done, on our last day the house keeping staff finally took initiative to get it replaced.

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff

The hotel was so perfect and wonderful situated at the Beach. The staff was so Nice, kind and friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful (had breakfast and dinner all Days), and the kitchen staff was really Nice and helpfull. The pool was lovely and a fantastic View over the sea. Me and my family enjoyed the stay very much and Would like to come back.

Our stay at tanzanite beach resort was really pleasant, the room was clean, the structure very beautiful and very well looked after with an amazing view of the blue ocean of Zanzibar, a beautiful backdrop. The staff very kind and helpful, available to fulfill every request. The food at the restaurant very very good. Highly recommended to those seeking for peace and relax

The Tanzanite Resort is an excellent choice for spending relaxing days in the Nungwi area. Aesthetically, the resort is very nice, the sea in front is beautiful with amazing colors, all the staff is very friendly and helpful (manager, waiters, reception, excursion staff, cleaning and gardening staff). The surroundings of the facility are quaint and safe, nearby attractions such as the Nungwi Aquarium and local stalls. A 15- to 20-minute maximum cab ride to Nungwi Beach and Kwendwa.

The staff here is amazing and so welcoming. Also the airline lost my luggage so i didn't have clothes to change into. The concierge helped me by getting stuff i needed like clothes and an adaptor. If i come back i will definitely stay here again.
