"Arrived on a Thursday for a weekend long trip. Upon checking in and getting to our room after a long day of traveling - we just wanted to crawl into bed after a hot shower. First thing start off with barely ANY water pressure in our shower, then we threw back the sheets and found two hairs - both of these issues were whatever to us at that point because we were so tired. We did make a comment to the staff at breakfast, and they said they would send someone up to clean the room. OK fine - now come Saturday - we booked another room for a family member to stay in and we go to checkin for the 2nd room for them, and the front desk Manager (Jessica I think her name was) informed us it WAS SOLD TO ANOTHER PERSON AFTER WE SPOKE TO HER ON THE PHONE AND CONFIRMED WE WOULD BE BACK SHORTLY TO CHECK IN and they were completely booked for the rest of the night! If we wanted the 2nd room we would have to go to the sister property 6 miles away and the family member would have to stay there (keep in mind he didn't have a car or anything would have to Uber there, etc. as we were his ride for the rest of the weekend)! We ended up having that family member sleep on the COUCH in our room which was terrible as he already has back problems. Staff was EXTREMELY rude, not helpful what so ever after selling our 2nd room, and on top of it being dirty when we check in - and we even overlooked that and didn't make it a big deal. Well Saturday unfortunately was something that we just could not overlook!"

"Besides Lobby and Rooftop / Location Draw - The Rooms are far from comfortable: - Excessive noise from surrounding units, above, and from the parties/apartments around. In addition there is a horn from a train and industrial all night including traffic. I could not sleep even with ear plugs. Please see video for a banging and footsteps experienced, it was much worse during partying hours - Rooms do not use hypoallergenic or fragrance free cleaning products, it smelled heavily of cleaners upon entering. Worse, the bedding (pillows) gave me a serious rash on the back of my neck. When I noticed this I started checking the sheets early in the morning worried for bedbugs, did not see any signs but did find disgusting stains on the comforter. - Rooms are cramped. I even toured a suite which I was going to book all weekend and very glad I didn’t. they are quite stripped down and basic. - Showers are comfortable but a lot of the lighting in the bathroom didn’t work properly. - When staff asked how the stay is and I said I could not sleep due to banging they looked at me disturbed. I’m not sure if they interpreted “banging” incorrectly. - Basic AC Marriotts or 3star hotels are more comfortable. I would have had a better sleep glamping in hocking hills. If you’re there to party on the rooftop or with the surrounding apartments and don’t care comfort or sleep then this might be the hotel for you. Not the luxury zen hotel advertised "
