Amazing hotel with excellent staff. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel has outstanding views to the city. The staff is wonderful in all aspects of hospitality! Only 2 draw backs - area around hotel underdeveloped and lots of barking dogs as this hotel sits in residential neighborhood. Steep hill to get to property kept one drivers car from being able to make it and had to take alternate path that added 10 mins.

This hotel is amazing ! Views are beautiful but it’s a long way from town and not walkable to anything. That said I would stay here again just for views ambiance - great rooms and food!

The Flavia hotel is gorgeous with masterfully curated artwork, upscale design and unique furniture. The restaurant on site has incredible food and cocktails. My wife and I loved every aspect of the hotel. The view of Oaxaca city from our room was the highlight. I would like to add that the service was amazing! They were always making sure all of our needs were met, and going above and beyond. One thing that stood out to us was the attention to detail and how knowledgeable everyone was about the art and the city. They offer a tour of the artwork at the hotel and restaurant which we thought was so cool! Lastly, it was so clean and comfortable. We will recommend Flavia to anyone who visits the beautiful city of Oaxaca.

the property is beautiful. the staff was (Rafe and Max) exceptional-friendly, responsive and had great suggestions for things to do and eat. the cocktails so very good!! Food very good as well. Just a beautiful space at every turn. it is 20 minutes from the city centre so you have account for that everyday. and it is a steep hill but the view is worth it! the surrounding neighborhood is not walkable...they should pave the road next to the hotel where there are private homes. HOOKS in the bathroom for towels please!

Absolutely stunning hotel and experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and they’re invested in the hotel and love the property too. The art installations take it to another level. One thing to note is the hotel is an architectural home converted into a hotel so it is comfortable like a home and laid out that way. There are only 11 rooms as well and not that many staff, so it does feel a little more casual than other high end hotels. The service is wonderful though and they take care of you and pay attention to everything. The staff agreed that if any improvements should be made to the hotel it would be installing air conditioning. There was no cross breeze or real windows in our unit during this hot season, but leaving the door open with the provided fan cooled the room off enough to be comfortable at night. Absolutely love this hotel and would stay again!

Nice view of Oaxaca, very clean Hotel including rooms, staff were amazing. Only downside if you order DiDi it will take more time than usual to arrive also ordering a Taxi was a challenge as the hotel is not located near Oaxaca main square. Beautiful view, but unfortunately not a very comfortable stay. The room was noisy, could hear everything, earplugs were not comfortable to sleep with. We went there to be out of the noisy places but ended up frustrated In the early morning with barking dogs, the door was not fully blacked out so sunlight woke me early, and the water never got hot. Pillows were very hard, and basic amenities like drinking water were not provided. Considering the distance to get there, it wasn’t worth it for me
