Beautiful area. Limited parking spaces. We had to park on street. The most negative aspect: cigarette smoke throughout the facility. We checked out a day early because of this. The lady manager was very nice!

Good for a business trip
overall a nice place to stay for a business trip, if you arrive by a train or bus. It's just 5 mins from the station. Rooms are fine for a single person, a bit too small, though. The hotel's been a family house for decades, and it's been remodeled recently as a hotel. Anyway, it gives enough comfort for some one traveling in business. Breakfasts are ok, lacking hot plate though. Surely, ain't place for dems, rainbows or libtards - owners are straight catholics.

Breakfast was awesome, including custom eggs. Bed was one of the best we slept in on our 19 day Europe trip. Otto and his staff were very helpful, going as far to pick us up from town, (we were lost) the guesthaus was only 500 feet from the station. Hotel was semi close to main town, easily walkable for two 63 yr old couple. Thanks Otto!

Otto Huber the owner was over the top friendly and charming. The rooms are very comfortable and featured a nice and clean breakfast area. The Gastehaus was with in walking distance of a grocery store and the the main town square. A great value for the price and I will for sure stay here again next time I am in the area. Can't say enough good things about this Gastehaus.

Lovely place, excellent location and great breakfast. Mr Huber is a lovely man, very helpful and chatty. Nothing was too much trouble for him or his staff. Will definitely stay there again

Wonderful hotel with great staff
This is a wonderful hotel in a small idyllic village in the foot of the Bavarian Alps, Oberammergau, known for Passion Play held once every decade. Otto Huber, a third generation hotelier welcomed us and went out of the way to make our stay very pleasant and comfortable. It is a short 5 min walk to the center for nice restaurants, shops, and wonderful ice cream place.

Super tolle Lage und Unterkunft!
Personal war nett. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Die Sauna ist super. Zimmer sind sauber. Frühstück war auch ok. Lage ist perfekt. Ich kann die Unterkunft ohne schlechtes Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
