Our stay was very pleasant, staff was friendly throughout our stay during the 250th Independence Day weekend. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommend others to stay here if you’re visiting Oceanside. The best perks of staying here are by far beach frontage views from your rooms, everything they advertise and more. You’ll just have to book your stay and find out for yourself.

Initially, I thought the resort fee and valet costs were high given the room rate. However, we got an ocean view, free umbrella, chairs and boogie board rental with our room so it was fair. Great location, charming hotel, friendly staff! The restaurant on site, Piper, was not as good. The food was average for the high prices. We found the tacos one block up to be delicious!

We had a very smooth valet and check-in experience, quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean, and we absolutely loved the ocean view. We were on the 5th floor, above the pool area. The balcony was private, with a great view of the ocean. Checkout was easy - we turned in our room keys, quickly reviewed the charges, retrieved our cars from the valet, and were on our way. This part of Oceanside has been beautifully revitalized, and I definitely recommend a visit, and make sure to stay at the Seabird!

Highlights: Walking distance to ANY AND EVERYTHING within Oceanside! Prime location for beach goers, and amazing outdoor views from the hotel property! Friendly and warm staff, all were very helpful and greeted morning/night! Loved the ambiance here, had such a lovely vacation feel! Improvements: One elevator was down during our stay, making extremely long wait times (if we weren’t on the 6th level this wouldn’t be too much of an issue). The noise and busy level during the holiday weekend made it not as relaxing at times in the building and at the pool (lots of kids running around and screaming on our floor, knocking on the door). Really high drink and food prices at the poolside cafe, made it not as desirable to eat on property (so many options off property within a few feet).

Beautiful place to stay! Loved being near the beach, and walkable to many great restaurants. We weren’t impressed with the Piper Restaurant, but the Shore Room was very nice with excellent drinks. This resort is very family friendly, who co is great for families, but there were many screaming and running kids around the common areas and swimming pool and especially in the hot tub, even though the sign says go 12 and older.

Pros: Fabulous oceanfront views; excellent location within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops; clean and modern property; friendly staff; lovely pool. Would definitely stay here again. Cons: Room service was overpriced and sub par. Valet parking is unnecessarily expensive.
