  • It took us around two hours to get to the glacier through heavy rain, sleet, rough terrain and wind which threatened to blow our brains away. Not the easiest hiking route, I have to admit (well, it might be if the weather is welcoming and you're wearing a nice pair of water resistant boots) needless to say we were lacking any of those (dumb us). At some points you literally have to balance on a rope (very wet with ice cold water streaming down the sleeves as you're grabbing it) 90 degrees up the rocks. The very end is breathtaking though-massive pile of snow, ice and waterfalls all pale blue as the air is ridiculously clean there. Take extra care, however, the surfaces, little bridges and pathways get really slippery if it rains. Avoid if you're travelling with small children.

The snap was super friendly! We have to check in late and they are very accommodating. The room was super clean, and the bed was Comfortable! Breakfast was light but good! Definitely worth the stay! Would highly recommend! Also, the view is top-notch!

The hotel is right on the water with great views from the room and the dining room. They put us up in the presidential suite when we expected and paid for a simple room. I wish that we had been able to spend more time here.

Spacious hotel with amazing views

Stayed in a family room which was a spacious apartment. We had requested a room with a view and got a a top floor with amazing views over lake and the mountains. Kids enjoyed trampoline in the backyard. Staff is very hospitable and there were plenty of free parking.

Overall a fine stay

Check in was prompt & straightforward, & we were greeted in a friendly and helpful and efficient way. Our room was sparse but functional, although facing the road it was noisy especially with trucks rolling by during the night. Breakfast was nicely presented and tasty. The dinner menu was limited but also tasty. For what we paid I might have expected a little more comfort but otherwise we were happy.

We loved this place! The check-in staff was welcoming and joyful, the decor charming and happy, room was 2 story and spacious with a balcony and INCREDIBLE views. Wow. We had pizza for dinner on-site, and a nice breakfast included in the morning with cups of coffee to go for the road. Only minor drawback was there was only handsoap available for washing in the shower. Still loved the stay and the charm of the place and staff overall.

Seems to be family run hotel in a popular ski area. It was very quiet when I was there, but they were so friendly, my room had a great view, and if you are there for multiple days, it is perfect.

This was a great place for us to relax. There was more room than a typical hotel and the kitchenette allowed us to prepare our own dinner. The staff were friendly, the breakfast delicious, and free parking was a bonus!

Fantastic

Had a wonderful three-night stay here to use as a base for Trolltunga. The room (apartment) was much more than we were expecting, lovely food and very helpful and friendly staff. Could happily have stayed there for longer.

Amazing view

Amazing view from the room and balcony. The whole area is stunning. The room we got was like an apartment with a loft and kitchen with all equipment, including dishwasher. The restaurant had a basic menu with food that was totally OK. Pizza, nachos with chicken or minced meat etc. The breakfast buffet was acceptable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay!

Correct, un peu vieillot.

Hôtel un peu vieillot , chambre correcte, c'est un studio avec cuisine. Il manque un micro-ondes. Le petit-déjeuner corect servi un peu tard pour ceux qui désirent partir de bonne heure. Parking gratuit.
