"Lanthia is a wonderful resort -- quiet, beautifully maintained, access to a secluded spot on the beach with an option for a tree shaded area. Our room was aesthetically pleasing in design with a nice outdoor patio. A 10-12 minute walk will take you to the Porto Turistico, a hub for both land & sea tours and adventures.
We had dinner at the restaurant 2 nights in a row. The food & service were excellent. I highly recommend this resort for couples."

"My husband and I spent the last 5 nights of our European honeymoon here and it was a perfect relaxing way to end our trip. The staff was friendly, the room and grounds were clean, we enjoyed having the option to lounge by the pool or the by beach with access to loungers that were reserved for hotel guests. Parking was free and easily accessible. We have no complaints!"

We arrived at 9:30PM. Stefania knew we would be hungry after a long day of travel and offered to order us a pizza which arrived quickly. The property is beautiful. The breakfast bountiful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I 100% recommend this accommodation! We loved the kindness and welcome of the owner. The accommodation is very clean and consistent with the photos. No unpleasant surprises. On the plus side: the owner speaks a few words of French and the breakfast is excellent with a choice of continental or Sardinian breakfast.

We had a nice the-day stay. Silvia and Alex have created a great traditional bed and breakfast in Lotzorai. They are helpful and welcoming hosts of a lovely authentic sardinian experience.

Everything was awesome however I arrived two hours early and I never got the instructions for self check in. Otherwise it’s a modern, relaxing an upscale hotel well worth every penny. I like how art pieces are in your room as well as in the hallways. If I were a chef I would have taken advantage of the the complete kitchen.

My wife and I spent three nights here in early May. We were only ones staying there. Really nice property with stunning location/views of mountains/valley just on the outskirts of Dorgali, a small but convenient town for hiking and hitting the coast.
It feels like staying in countryside but town is just 2 minutes drive or short walk to eat dinner.
Room was comfortable with all you need. Some rooms have balconies, which are a bit more and I didn‘t opt for but in summer it may be nice. Rooms...

We loved our stay at Ecoparco Neule. Just as their pictures suggest, the place is lovely with beautiful expansive views of the lake and surrounding hills. The decor of our room with private bath was done in neutral and blue tones with touches of traditional Sardinian linen. So pretty. The included breakfasts offered tea or espresso drinks with an assortment of sweet breads, local fresh cheese, honey, homemade yogurt, and fruit. We had use of a shelf in the refrigerator and also a shelf in a...

Ogliastra, a stunning region nestled on the eastern coast of Sardinia, offers a perfect blend of adventure and affordability for budget-conscious travelers. Start your journey at the breathtaking Cala Goloritzé, a hidden gem where you can hike down from the trailhead and bask in the sun on its pristine beach, all for free. For history enthusiasts, the ancient Nuraghe Su Narcu provides a fascinating glimpse into Sardinia’s Bronze Age, and exploring the ruins is an inexpensive way to connect with the island’s rich past. Families will love the outdoor activities at the Gennargentu National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, picnicking, and even spotting local wildlife without spending a dime. Don’t miss out on the local cuisine; try the delicious and budget-friendly street food at the weekly market in Tortolì, where you can savor traditional dishes like culurgiones (stuffed pasta) and pane carasau (crispy flatbread). For the best value, consider staying in the charming town of Arbatax, where you’ll find several affordable hotels that provide comfortable amenities and easy access to these attractions. With friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, your family will feel right at home while enjoying the stunning coastal views and the vibrant local culture.
