Rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. The grounds were lovely and the pool and hot tubs were very well maintained. Landscaping was well done. Location of property was next to the Marginal Way and several blocks from shops and restaurants. The restaurant on the grounds was very good. Overall a very nice experience.

Outstanding stay! Everything was great, from the room and staff service to the location. The room was huge and much bigger than I expected, which was a wonderful surprise. The location was perfect-close to the beach, beautiful walking trails, restaurants, and shopping. Everything was convenient and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again!

This resort has it all! This is what I had been looking for in a Maine Vacation destination. There is a reasonable beautiful on site restaurant that has great views. Perfect for breakfast. There is a beautiful lawn with ample chairs of various types overlooking the ocean. Indoor and outdoor pools. The grounds are beautiful. There are two access points to The Marginal Way ocean walk right from the property! The staff is super helpful! Our room was across the road in The Lightship Building. Don’t let that put you off the rooms are spacious like suites and it is really just steps to the main building and restaurant. We had an amazing time!

This gorgeous property is in a prime location on the ocean (and near everything “downtown”), and it maximizes that location with gorgeous pool, relaxation, and other resort facilities. The rooms, while small, were fine- except for extremely uncomfortable beds that really challenged my husband and me. Multiple hot tubs, 2 pools, Adirondack chairs, direct access to Marginal Way, fire tables by the sea- wow. Barely sleeping through the night- less so. I would consider going back given all the advantages, but I’d look into whether any of the room options included newer beds first (we were in starboard 1st floor).
