“For the most part, we loved our stay at The Milestone. The front desk staff was friendly as were the cleaning staff that we encountered. The room was dated but clean except for the light fixture over the vanity which was covered in dust (room 214). The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. We liked the adirondeck chairs and picnic tables outside and the pool was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of service.”

“The staff was exceptional and promptly called to let me know I had left an expensive belonging behind. The room was clean enough, but there were visible stains on the bedding and lampshades. I would highly recommend asking for a second floor room, as our upstairs neighbors were up all hours of the night, therefore we were as well. In all, it was a safe inexpensive place to stay in a very expensive town.”

“The other reviewers are correct, the exterior of the property is nice, but the rooms are pretty beat up. We enjoyed our stay though, it was quiet and there is a beautiful view of the marsh with the open ocean beyond. I recommend room 214, there’s a balcony with the view.”

The staff were extremely attentive and well prepared as it was a very busy week with guests. We 100% will be coming back.”

“Although The Grand is an older facility it is very well maintained by the staff and immaculately clean. Our room was a beautiful suite on the third floor with a large balcony with plenty of seating. The basement parking is perfect in inclement weather.”

“We loved our stay! Its location is excellent. Walking distance to beach, shops and beautiful marginal trail walk to Perkins cove. The hotel grounds were well manicured. Our only suggestion for our room is that it could stand to have a new mattress. There's too much wear with indentations. The two seater couch cushions kept sliding off, so a new and larger pull out couch and a few end tables next to the couch would be helpful. Overall we would definitely stay here again.”
