“Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable.”

“Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. “A stranger was given a keycard to our room and wandered in while my wife was changing. When I told reception about this very serious and potentially dangerous issue, she said "Well what do you expect me to do about it?"”

“The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. “Location was good, right off the highway. Lots of free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very good. We didnt have the breakfast. Shower was nice had a bathtub. Beds were ok pillows were hard and not very comfortable. Would stay again.”
