"Property was extremely clean (not just the rooms…the whole place). You couldn’t get any closer to the beach! The motel is well within walking distance of The Pier and other restaurants and amenities. The view is spectacular! The owners ( who we were fortunate enough to meet) were so nice and helpful! Thanks for a great experience…we will definitely come back!"

"Great location. Friendly staff. The room was a little dirty but not terrible. The biggest issue was the air conditioner unit. It was FILLED with dust and looked like there was mold in it. I developed a sore throat from sleeping underneath it and was shocked when I saw it. It need to be replaced ASAP and checked more frequently."

"The big plus is how close it is to the beach. There’s also the pool that can be used now that it’s the same owner as the neibhoring motel. But the beds aren’t comfortable. The carpet is such a bad idea with the humid weather abd the sand from the beach. The electric outlets in the room are loose, the mini fridge kept shutting off because the plug wasn’t okay. If you are not looking for comfort, but just a great location, this is an okay choice."

"Room was clean upon our arrival. The staff was very helpful, and the hot tub as well as the pool was clean and wonderful to relax in. The view from the beach was great. Short driving ditto the pier at old orchard beach with plenty of parking facilities at the old orchard beach, for very reasonable prices."

"I would recommend the Friendship Oceanfront Suites to everyone. Polite and courteous staff, the owners are on hand every day. They welcome you with a smile and ask you to let them know if you need anything. In the reception area there is a wonderful coffee/tea selection, a hot/cold water fountain, along with pastries There is also a bowl of different chocolates or candy on the counter, that I am sure the staff hated to see me coming everyday. The rooms are very clean, they have been renovated. They have A/C or heat, king size beds, pull out couches in the living room section, the kitchen has a fridge with a freezer and a microwave, a table with two chairs, coffee maker. TV in the kitchen/living room area and another in the bedroom. The views are amazing of the beach. Miles of hard packed sand to walk on. The pool is clean, with lots of fresh towels and seating, tables with parasols. There is an outdoor shower by the pool to rinse off before bathing or just to splash yourself when you're too hot but down want to dip in the pool. Coming off the beach there is a water hose to wash all the sand off yourself, so you don't bring it on the property with you. Very well thought out. There is ample parking for every guest. I absolutely love this place and everyone working there. Once again, I highly recommend."
