"I had a decent stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well priced. Unfortunately, it’s right in the middle of old city and taxis can only drop off at a stop about 15 mins walking away. It’s up a small alley off an extremely busy road and there are rooftop parties with loud music nearby in the evenings. I wasn’t a fan of the wet bathroom style but for a couple days it wasn’t a huge deal. The hotel manager spoke English but the security attendants do not. Overall, it’s hard to find a...

"This is a good place in the old town of Udaipur. It's convenient and fairly clean for the area. Just note that the area is run-down and dirty—but that's old town Udaipur. Also note that there is no elevator."

"Enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff was wonderful. I arrived via train early and they accommodated storing luggage for a few hours. Any requests were met with enthusiasm and friendliness. When I left they packed a breakfast for me to go, as leaving early in the morning. The pool is wonderful! Very clean and refreshing. Staff do great job keeping grounds clean and the rooms clean and comfortable. Very much enjoyed this hotel. "

"Good location, staff are great, bathroom needs work. Downside is the upstairs rooftop club that plays loud music from 6pm- midnight which you can hear very loudly from your room. Just an FYI if you’re travelling and trying to get a decent night sleep "

"The Kotra Haveli in Udaipur is in a fantastic location, very close to the Jagdish Temple and Lake Pichola. It provides a calm, clean, safe haven, in the heart of the tourist area and shopping side streets. The restaurant and roof top seating area has amazing views of the City Palace. Breakfast offers a variety of Continental or Indian styles. The Lunch and Dinner menu is great too. The Hotel Manager is very helpful, as is all the Hotel Staff. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Udaipur."

"This haveli is right in the centre of the old city. It is surrounded by interesting little lanes and picturesque buildings. We loved the decoration throughout the hotel, especially in our room, the 24/7 hot showers and the view from the rooftop cafe. We enjoyed the nearby shopping and easy tuktuk access to local tourist attractions. "
