This is our third stay at The Point. The 1 bdrm suite is roomy, with a full kitchen. The bathroom is large, with a jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower. We like the location because it's near Epic Universe.

Between us booking and staying at the hotel I believe it changed owners. The hotel was ok. We got it for a good price and for what we paid it was fine, but could do with a few changes/updates. PROS: Great location, minutes away from Universal & IDrive. Large room (we had the one bed suite). Full kitchen & washer/dryer combo. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Nice pool area. Very comfortable bed. CONS: strong smell of cannabis all over the hotel and people smoking it right outside so sitting on the balcony meant inhaling it. Room smelled bad. Couldn’t figure out what it was so bought an air freshener. Carpet in the bedroom was old, stained & theadbear. May have been the source of the smell! Sofa smelled, needed a good febreeze. Not enough storage, for such a large room they could definitely fit more drawers and cupboards in. Not all the jets worked in the bath tub. There appeared to be people living at the hotel too.

This hotel in the Orlando/Universal area is incredibly awesome. I have not met a single staff member who wasn’t exceptional at this property, and I truly appreciate that. The only downside is that we have to request room cleaning, but overall, it’s an A-1 property in my book, which is why I extended my stay.

1st off I had check in problems. They wasn't sure if I made a payment. 2nd the elevator made scary noises each time like it was going to break down. 3rd hair was in bathtub and floor. 4th the bathroom door was broken. 5th the AC makes a loud noise when it comes on and while running. Crazy part was when checking out the family before me was complaining about something and the family after me had rowches. The only good thing was the elevator smelled good and the pool/ cabana area was clean.
