"The Monte Carlo is a good value, reasonably priced hotel. We have stayed there several times over the last few years. Its main selling feature is that it is usually available at a decent price. The rooms are clean. We’ve never had issues. The breakfast offered is not that great, and we usually just pick up coffee and muffins from Tim’s just down the street. Our most recent stay had us in room 407. The sink faucet forced the water out in a fine, powerful spray that tended to splash back onto the counter, and generally make a mess. Also, the shower curtain didn’t cover to the bottom of the walk in shower, also creating a wet floor. These are problems that are easily fixed. It would be nice if they were addressed."

"Me and my family stayed at super 8 Barrie and found it to be a great budget option. The food was surprisingly good for the price, offering a variety of tasty dishes that enhanced my stay. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location. However, the amenities could use some maintenance, as some areas looked worn. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those seeking affordable accommodations with decent dining."

"It was a quick stay so we didn't have time to use any facilities. The breakfast was fair for a quick bite before we had to leave. There is a nice walk with gazebo, etc outside that looked very nice, outside our room that I wish we could have used."
