"We arrived after a long day of traveling from Norway. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had a reservation for dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Breakfast the next morning was great and we had a chance to walk around Impruneta. We were sorry we couldn't stay longer."

I would recommend that the instructions for arriving very clearly state in English that the funicolare is not open late and no taxis are available late. Clear instructions in English for how/where to catch the shuttle bus to get to the accommodation and whether payment is required would be EXTREMELY helpful after a long day of travel to get to Orvieto. We were slightly panicked, but then by the grace of God a shuttle bus pulled in across the street and we quickly ran over with our luggage so as not to miss it. The driver told us he was going to the Duomo, and we had to walk with our luggage from there. We didn’t understand whether there was a charge at all for the shuttle bus, but the driver told us we didn’t have to pay."

"We had the 4 person ground floor apartment. It has a queen bed in the very large loft and a queen sofa bed on the even larger main floor. The apartment includes a main floor kitchen and a between floors full bath. The main floor also includes 2 love seats and a 4 person table. Everything was in excellent shape. We bought the breakfast which had cakes, pastries, yogurt, coffee, juice and milk. Again excellent quality. Not to mention Orieto is a beautiful tourist destination."
