Excellent location, good breakfasts and friendly staff. The small rooms on the secondary hotel (not the main one) are very very small, they smell like old wet carpet, humid and the music playing downstairs is not as bad, depending how close you are to the bars.

The location is great. However my room was tiny with no safe no phone. They said that was the economy room. Minimal things.

Keep in mind there is a remodeling, construction going on outside of the hotel inside an old building down below the guests room. We were not able to relax during the day nor sleep in the morning due to constant loud noises. It looks like this activity has been going on for some time and will be continuing for some time as well. Be aware! The breakfast was great.

To be clear, we stayed on the budget side of the hotel. The rooms were musty, cramped, and noisy. My earplugs were no match for the nightclub thumping away until 3am. Which meant you didn't want to open your window despite the stifling mugginess of the room which was so small you could hardly open your suitcase. On the plus side, the location was excellent and the breakfast was a beautiful smorgasbord. Ten stars for the most beautiful breakfast buffet you can imagine! If you go, don't even consider staying on the budget side. If you complain about your room, they will try to upsell you to the expensive side anyway.

Construction started 7am every morning. Music from restaurant next door kept you awake u til 3am. No AC in the room. Location was awesome tho. And so was breakfast.

Tilbrakte en natt der. Rommet var veldig varmt da ventilasjonsanlegget var ute av drift. Fikk en bordvifte levert fra resepsjonen, og den fungerte bra. Mye støy fra naborestauranten med høy musikk utendørs fram til ca kl 2. Resepsjonisten på hotellet fikk dem til å dempe musikken. Imøtekommende og serviceinnstilt personale på dette hotellet!

Since my original room wasn't available, I was upgraded with a renovated room on the 5th floor. Quiet, cozy and comfortable. Staff was accommodating, friendly and courteous.

Bel hôtel, vraiment très bien placé, tout peut se faire à pied, sinon tram à quelques pas. Chambre bien confortable (la nôtre donnait sur une cour, pas de bruit sauf travaux exceptionnels). Excellent petit déjeuner. Accueil très sympathique. Parfait !

Great location with great breakfast

Very nice hotel on the main road, easy walk to the train station and many restaurants and sites. During a two week trip in Scandinavia, they had the best breakfast spread of all.
