An old building, in a good location, the rooms are good size, runs very warm.
Just 2 Metro stops from Central Station, and 5 minutes walk from the Metro to the hotel. The hotel was clean, and the staff welcoming. There are a couple of Bars, coffee shops and bakers close by. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Oslo.
I really enjoyed my short stay here! I had a smooth check-in and out! Front desk staff were usually very friendly and helpful! The room was clean, modern, comfortable and had all the basic things I needed! I loved the fact that there was like a food plaza just like less than 5min walking distance from the hotel! I also liked the convenience of transportation, either bus or train, nearby. Bonus points, they offered luggage storage post check-out at no additional cost! Recommended!
Quite literally a top sheet on the mattress. Definitely a cheap stay, but the location was great and very easy to get into downtown Oslo either walking or by train. Not the cleanest either, the exposed mattress also had hair on it, hair in the shower and on the floor.

Its ok. Nothing special. Beds not very comfortable but not the worst. Shower, a little leaky but worked. The woman who works the front desk weekday mornings was rude or at least didn't like me; she kept thinking I was stealing free breakfast even though it was included in my room. The rest of the staff were nice.
Great location for 2 Parkrun's, a bit of a walk to the city centre, but doable.
Room was clean, shower nice and hot with good water pressure.
We would have loved a kettle in our room, this would have tipped us up to 5 stars.
Very good place, clean, great helpful staff, very accommodating to help, the young guy was particularly helpful in my room change and making it simple and easy. Great place for a great price and close to centre. Only a 20 min walk
The hotel is 5 min away from the nearest metro station and 2 min away from the bus station. You could also walk to the center on foot.
Our room was spacious and comfy. It had a huge balcony overlooking a quiet neighborhood. It had all the things one can need during her stay.
Our room was clean and we had lots of clean towels.
However, there was hair in the shower and the hair dryer didn’t work.
Other than that it is nice to stay here.
Well, the economy room is really economy. It is small and feels very cold and not like a place where you want to be much longer than necessary. No pictures, no colors, no decoration. Not much to feel comfortable. Bed was fine. There is also no AC, but a fan in the room to get some fresh air. It is also very loud; busy street on the window side, but even worse the heavy doors in the hotel, which are closing very loudly. TV was not working at all, which I normally not use, but during World Cup it would have been nice. Also WIFI connection was very poor in the room.
Room was clean.
What is nice, is the hotel lobby. That really looks good and you feel welcomed there. But this impression already stops at the elevator.
Nice: You get some free water and coffee at the entrance.
Also good it the location close to metro Toyen, which is part of the ring, so you have a good connection to the center.
Overall, I would not book this room again.
An absurd experience.
We knew we had booked a 3-star hotel, but the overall atmosphere felt completely off from the moment we arrived. The lobby was oddly empty, with loud techno music playing, an indoor fountain, and cold air conditioning that made the space feel unwelcoming rather than relaxing.
One of the biggest frustrations was housekeeping. Our room was not cleaned unless we specifically requested it or left a sign on the door. When we did ask, it felt as though we were inconveniencing the staff.
The booking process itself was easy and straightforward.
We tried the breakfast one morning. It was decent, but nothing memorable. The omelet was the only item we particularly enjoyed.
The room was extremely warm throughout our stay. The window could not be fully opened, and the hotel did not provide a fan. The shower was very small and uninspiring, and the room itself felt bland and lacked any sense of comfort or character. With the heat and limited space, it was not somewhere we felt comfortable spending time.
The main advantage of this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the T-bane, which provides quick access to Oslo city center.
Overall, while the location was convenient, the atmosphere, comfort level, and service made this a disappointing stay.
The front desk staff were quite helpful. Free coffee was excellent. Proximity to TOYEN metro and to "Clean Cocos" laundromat are major pluses.
Uber / Bolt rides may decline pickup from Hotel for a drop to Central (too close and fare is low). Metro is a great way to get around.
Visit "Hand Bakt" about 300 mètres from the hotel on the same road for freshly baked products.
Would definitely stay here again.
The location is the only tricky part. It’s 25 minutes walk away from the central station. And it’s on the hill. So if you’re carrying big luggage I’d recommend to use some transportation.
Other than that, everything was perfect. The room is clean. And not too small. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall it was a lovely stay
