Gut gelegen für einen Museumsbesuch

Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist hervorragend. Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber des Museum Auschwitz I Stammlager, von wo auch Shuttlebusse zum Museum Auschwitz II Birkenau fahren, welches aber auch fußläufig (knapp 3km) erreichbar ist.

Bon hôtel étape pour visite du site d'Auschwitz.

Hôtel juste en face du site d'Auschwitz que nous voulions visiter, donc très agréablement surpris, car nous pensions être à quelques minutes du site. Hôtel très bien pour une nuit. Seul bémol, de ne pas pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre des chambre du Rdc par manque de tranquillité ensuite.

Empfehlenswert für einen Ort der nicht sein dürfte

Das Hotel ist ein exzellenter Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung des Stammlagers Auschwitz (von dort fährt ein Bus nach Birkenau). Der Weg zum Besucherzentrum ist ca. 200 m weit. Die Bedienung und der Empfang waren sehr freundlich; Anfragen wurden schnell und kompetent bearbeitet. Das Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen und für uns sehr angemessen. Das Zimmer war für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut ausgestattet; es war zwar hellhörig, aber die benachbarten Gäste waren genauso an der Nachtruhe interessiert wie wir. Der Badlüfter war sehr geräuschvoll, konnte aber mit dem Licht ausgeschaltet werden. Die Fenster gingen zur Straße, deswegen haben wir, auch wegen des Erdgeschosses, das Fenster geschlossen gehalten. Eine Klimaanlage sorgte dennoch für die passende Raumteperatur. Der kostenlose Parkplatz war wenige Schritte vom Haus entfernt.

Perfect for visiting Auschwitz memorial/museum

Easy and quick check-in, helpful staff. Literally across the road from the Auschwitz camp/museum. Very convenient. Free parking at the hotel. Good sized room and adequate bathroom. Was very clean and everything worked in the room. Good wifi. Buffet breakfast was good, and well stocked. Good choice of foods – limited hot food, but 2-3 choices of cereals, fruits, breads, cheese/meat, juices, etc. Restaurant is open all day and has very good food for dinner – we ate there both nights we stayed at this hotel – staff very friendly and helpful. No complaints at all…….and would happily recommend this hotel.

Fijn en schoon en net hotel. En de ligging was voor waar wij kwamen perfect. Tegenover Auswitchz. Dat scheelde ons veel reistijd. Het ontbijt was perfect, goed verzorgd en zeer uitgebreid. De kaners ook niet gehorig zoals eerder te lezen was. En aardige en behulpzame dames aan de receptie

Great place to stay.

Great service even when we needed something printed. The location was great as you could see Auschwitz car park from our window and had a nice restaurant next door. Only thing that puts its overall down was just the noise from next door in the morning which was a staff room as it kept waking us up.

5 day trip to Poland!

First impression upon arrival, easy to find! It's a nice looking house very much how we wanted it. It's a small town charming hotel and it feels very warm and cozy. The service were outstanding it felt that they would go great lengths for you to feel comfortable and be satisfied. All staff has great English so it's easy to communicate. The room we had were very big and comfy, perfect with the a/c for the warm nights we had. They were also clean and neat. The food at the hotel were really good 5/5, and surprisingly cheap! It's really close to Auschwitz I wich we went twice. Plenty of restaurants nearby and convinience stores. 5 minutes by car and you reach the supermarkets and McDonald's or KFC also easy to find! My overall impression of the visit at Olecki were great I recommended it if you want to see more of the countryside in Poland!

Lokalt, centralt hotel kan virkelig anbefales.

Hvis du er historie interesseret og planlægger et visit til Auschwitz, vil jeg stærkt anbefale at besøge Hotel Olecki. Det er et super hyggeligt og autentisk hotel på mange måder. Rummene er rene og indeholder det nødvendige. Badeværelset er meget flot og rummeligt og morgenmads buffeten er dejlig varieret og lækker. Et perfekt udgangspunkt for et tidligt besøg i Auschwitz eks. Lokal området er sparsomt og man skal små 3 km for at komme ind til selve byen, som indeholder mange gode butikker og spisesteder. Man kan godt spise frokost/aftensmad på hotellet. Udvalget er sparsomt men kvaliteten i top. Specielt deres lokale suppe er fænomenal. Alt i alt et superlækkert hotel for folk der ikke forventer luksus og spaophold, men smilende personale og ægte polsk gæstfrihed.

Perfekt läge och över förväntan

Mysiga rum, fräsht badrum, AC, minikyl till att ställa in vatten och ev. mat, restaurang i källaren där även frukost serverades. Svalt och skönt när det var 34C utanför byggnaden. Hotellet ligger rakt över gatan från Auschwitz museets entré. Det finns en restaurang bredvid och ett annat hotell bakom vilket gav matalternativ. Parkering bakom huset, trevlig personal! Det finns en del mygg i området kring Auschwitz, myggspray är att rekommendera..
