Our stay at Hotel Miramare was absolutely wonderful! The hotel combines classic Italian charm with modern comfort — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of character. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location couldn’t be better — right by the sea, with stunning views and easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options to start the day right.

This hotel is located right by a beach club and walking distance from a public beach. It was a perfect location to enjoy Otranto’s beautiful beach. The hotel was walking distance to the Okd Town and plenty of restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Our experience at Hotel Miramare was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The service was warm, professional, and truly reflected the Italian hospitality you hope for when traveling. The location is unbeatable — right by the sea, with breathtaking views and easy access to shops, cafés, and local attractions. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breakfast overlooking the water was simply unforgettable. Our room was spotless, bright, and very comfortable, with a lovely balcony and thoughtful details that made the stay even more special. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with fresh pastries, fruit, and great coffee.

Very large rooms with balcony looking over bay. Excellent location right at the beach with fantastic restaurants to pick from within 100metres. Hotel was the cleanest we have ever been in. Breakfast buffet was memorable and included in tariff. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely return next year.

Definitely a 3 star hotel.It looks like a museum .

The hotel.was well located near located, near the beach,historical centre close by,fantastic breakfast buffet with lots of variety ,cappuccino ,drinking chocolate teas,lots of cakes juices,fruits,bread varieties,hams.Be advised dough that no bags or luggage are allowed in the breakfast room.But staff friendly,helpful, rooms clean .Our room had a balcony opposite the beach with table and chairs to sit outside.confortable mattress.

As a Japanese person, I often stand out in this area where there are very few Asians and people sometimes look at me with curiosity. However, the front desk staff at this hotel provided excellent service. They had a list of recommended restaurants prepared in advance, and kindly explained how to use the public bus system. Although some of the staff only spoke Italian, it seems their policy is to always have English-speaking staff available, so I didn’t experience any inconvenience. One thing that did concern me, though, was that the air conditioning didn’t work during the day—perhaps due to centralized control or some other reason.

Best get a cab from the stazione which is NOT handicapped friendly. (Also, it’s a long downhill/uphill walk.) The entrance to the hotel doesn’t correspond to the given address (one entrance on the side street, the other on the back street of the given address. Otherwise, it was a well situated seaside location with a friendly and cooperative staff. Walkable and convenient to cafes and restaurants.

The hotel was very convenient for exploring the town and the beaches. The staff at the hotel were friendly & welcoming. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of sweet & savoury items.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the beach and a very short walk to the castle. The room was large and clean. The shower was very small which might be an issue for some. Overall good value for money and I would stay there again

Nice 3 star hotel in good location

The hotel is well positioned at the waterfront, the communal areas and the bedroom were very clean. The room itself was a reasonable size for a 3 star hotel, and comfortable. The breakfast was good and served in a bright spacious room. My only negative comment is that our room was at the back of the hotel with a view of a garage and main road. We asked to be changed if possible but were told that all other rooms were occupied.

We were not happy with the room. We received a handicap room and there was no chair at all in the room to sit in. We tried to upgrade, but the hotel was full. In all fairness, we were offered a different room for the next day, but it did not seem worth the trouble. In addition, the maids broke the shower on the first day where they cleaned. A maintenance man came to fix it, but said it was not fixable without a part. So we had a part of the shower missing! The room was sterile, and uncomfortable, but we were too lazy to move! Sandra at the front desk offered another room in fairness. We were unhappy with the booking because we booked a double room, but we did not request a handicap room!

WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN IF IT WAS FREE.

Great location. Terrible property. People on staff very nice but hotel is poorly managed. Small rooms. Guest are required to leave hand bags on a bench outside the breakfast room! My wife was appalled. Breakfast was only cold pastry along with fruit, cereal, and ham and cheese. Beach is across the street yet they do not offer beach towels. Shower in room has very little pressure (intentionally), shampoo is in a ketchup type packet. Soap bar is like a small potato chip. Towels and linens are like cardboard. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN IF IT WAS FREE.
