It was a great venue to stay while we moved our son to post secondary school on Ottawa. It was an apartment style layout with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette, living room and balcony. Parking across the street. Restaurant/bar on site with kind, attentive staff and fantastic food.

Don’t be fooled by the photos, the rooms are an apartment buliding transformed into a hotel. It leaves a lot to be desired. Soundproofing is poor. Staff were all generally kind. Construction was also happening during our stay. Location is decent, walking distance to Ottawa’s landmarks but that’s the only plus i’ll give.

I wish there was water provided in the room. The hotel does have a vending machine on the ground floor where you can buy water. The front desk staff on our stay went out of her way to get us water from the bar. Very kind of her.

kids friendly, spacious room (we got a 1 bedroom suite), convenient location (one block away from Elgin street), and friendly staff. there's a kitchen but didn't use much. if you are planning to cook, paper towels are not provided so either grab some at the nearest Farm Boy market (when checking in, the staff will provide you a map and a cheat sheet for whereabouts). Of course, if this is provided by the hotel, that would be great!

The room had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, which may affect light sleepers. The location is excellent, close to the main tourist attractions while still being away from the busiest crowds.

Guest parking is not free or readily available. Parking is priced at about $27 plus taxes per day, we opted for Uber. It's centrally located, a short walk to the City Hall; lots of restaurants, stores and about 15 minutes to Rideau Mall.
