Hebridean Guest House

"Linda was very helpful, we lived meeting her! She suggested a great restaurant for dinner and we were so happy for it. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the street below and park across. The room was very large with a separate loveseat to sit on and relax. Breakfast was great and the serving team was lovely."
County Hotel

"The staff at the County Hotel were very friendly, helpful and obliging. They were always on hand to answer questions and sort out queries. Breakfast was very good and there were a selection of different choices on offer. Rooms were clean and tidy, especially the ensuite bathroom."

"We received a lovely warm welcome. Our room was beautifully clean with very comfortable beds. The Boatshed restaurant was amazing. Delicious food and huge portions. Breakfast was equally delicious and staff were friendly, attentive and highly professional. I’d recommend a stay here."
Stornoway Bed and Breakfast

"What a delightful place to stay in the charming town of Stornoway! Just a block off of the harbor on a quiet street. We stayed in the adjacent location which had a full kitchen and all necessary amenities, as well as a large television. The breakfast, including gluten free and vegan options, was simply extraordinary with wonderful choices, including homemade pastries by the owner. Our stay here just enhanced the overall experience of Stornoway. Highly recommended!!!"
Hebridean Stay

"Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist."
Skye Falls Chalet

"Exceptional views and very comfortable accommodation! Only suggestion for the owner would be to fasten the dishwasher unit to the cabinets as it tipped forward every time it was opened. We loved this location- so peaceful and wonderful to be so close to all the sheep and cows!"
Brae Lea Guest House

"Brae Lea is far more than one would expect. The location is a short walk to the Ferry Terminal at Lochboisdale - yet driving from the north, you feel as if you’re nestled in the foothills of a mountain (because you are). Rupert is an outstanding host, and he doubles as a 5-Star concierge. He helped us sort travel and touring arrangements as well as made breakfast and suggested dinner options. The Brae Lea accommodations are also top drawer. Clean - efficient - spacious - inviting. Full marks - on every count."
The Cabarfeidh Hotel

"This is evidently a popular spot in the community, as we saw a bridal shower and a baby shower when we checked in! The restaurant is very nice, and although we only had drinks and desserts, they were very good. It was also helpful for our travel plans that they offer a continental breakfast starting at 5AM, and the full breakfast a bit later. The only two minimal things that would have been great would have been a fridge in the room, and being able to open the window a bit wider. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and absolutely recommend."

"The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"
