“Very friendly owner and staff. Plentiful on-street parking and only ten minutes walk from town centre with its shops, restaurants and pubs. Convenient to walk to the castle and its grounds. Freshly cooked breakfast. I was in a top floor room with cam ceilings which was fine for me but this, and the small shower room, might not be for larger people.”

“This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious.”

I loved the touches of board games being available in the rooms and we enjoyed a game of Scrabble. The room felt like pure luxury and the taste in furniture and decor was impeccable - loved the tartan blanket company throw. We will definitely be back for a future special occasion!”
