The Ocean Shores

"Beach view at The Ocean Shores was wonderful. There is a path from the property directly down to the beach. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of towels, a hairdryer and personal sized shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Room includes refrigerator, microwave and single serve coffee maker with coffee packs and condiments. Large picture window provides a great view of the beach, glaciers and mountains. The blind on the picture window is adequate to block light but the light comes through the door curtains and did not block light so we improvised. Located in Old Town Homer and close to some great restaurants. It’s an outstanding accommodation and Mike the host is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It’s our new favorite place to stay in Homer!"

"Awesome condo!!!! Beautiful views from almost every room. Only issue was fireplace didn’t work and the mantle was dirty. I stayed in a similar condo 5 years ago at Lands End and the price has risen 300%."

"Such a pleasant surprise! The accommodation was much bigger than expected for the price. The beds were SO comfortable. There were numerous amenities which were so appreciated after a very long drive. There was no on-sight staff but the room was ready and waiting. Would highly recommend hotel and will definitely stay again."

"The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. Inside the cabin all the stairs are very steep and at odd angles. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The views from inside and out are amazing. You feel like you are much farther from the road then you are,loved that. The place was clean and quiet. Check in and out very easy, didn't meet a single person the entire time."
