The Resort fee ($35 per day) charged was for pool and top deck that was locked until Memorial Day. $10 credit if you used overpriced bar or restaurant. So after two visits let them keep the resort fee. If you notice that up front other hotels are same price. It was a great location only two blocks from Union Station. Minutes from Capital. Just be aware about the resort fee that is not included in the price but paid at check-in."

"Overall it’s fair to stay there. First of all, it’s our first family trip to DC, and we don’t really know the hotel doesn’t offer on site parking until we got there for check in. So we had the valet parking for the staying days and tipped the driver after checked out. Basically it’s $200 extra. Well, we do understand the hotel locates in the city, so it’s kind of fair. Secondly, the carpets in the room is pretty old and dirty, it has stains that could be seen. So I let my kids have their shoes on most of the time. The room keeper did the great job, at least the towels were clean. If the boss can upgrade the carpets and more, I would like to give another chance to stay here when we visit DC again. Thanks!"
