"Staff was friendly. Room was clean. No sign of bedbugs or roaches. Climate control was very good. There were cosmetic signs of age and wear. Ceiling had bulges and screws and seems were showing that should be expected for its age. The only real negative was that the shower/ tub basin was curved and all the antislip hardware was peeled off, resulting in a couple of near disastrous falls while showering. Other than that concern the room was adequate. I would stay again for sure."
"At check in they asked for a $50 cash deposit. Other reviews say $40? No receipt given after handing over cash. It may be a good idea if they gave you a receipt because it seemed sketchy. It's a made up number, the attendant pointed at the sign in front for incidentals but no number to be seen.
Rooms are spacious and the micro fridge was a decent size. The toilet/shower is separated by door to the sink which is a plus! Everything looked great until we saw roaches. Doors open to the outside so they may be the case.
Breakfast was available but I didn't eat much besides a biscuit.
The washer and dryer could be replaced, I stayed here long but didn't want to use it because of the rust and dirt buildup.
Ice machine worked wonderful!"
"My wife stayed there and had 2 nights booked. After the experience from the first night, she ended up going to a different hotel in another town the second night. The main curtains looking into the room from the outside didn't close and there was a loud banging throughout the night. She slept maybe a total of 45 minutes the 1 night she was there. She did mention the staff was friendly."
"Rooms was not the cleanest went through 3 different rooms first one air did not work second one was full of cockroaches and the third one was just a place to sleep staff was great "
"Place was clean and comfortable. Property is a bit dated and could use a remodel. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. Great price for clean and comfortable. "
"Great historical charm. Felt like we were back in time. Beds were great. The history of the furniture was fantastic but needed an update. The art was very authentic to the time period but Not a fan of the creepy dolls. We did notice a lot of dead bugs around the windows and on the bathroom floors. Parking was confusing. People were there around 9:30p.m.moving things in and out of the store below. We would have liked a list of amenities and things to do as it was very far away from everything. The restaurants and shops in the area were all closed. More of a gathering place for large groups but a little intimidating if you’re staying on your own. Thank you for adding the interesting experience to our list of Arkansas adventures."
