“Not very clean, one of the beds in our room was broken, carpet in the room was gross, the room smelt bad, there was no microwave in the room just overall really needs to be cleaned and maintained better. It was cheap compared to some of the nearby hotels and I guess that’s why! We won’t be going back!”

“Really pleasant stay! Rich at the front desk was so welcoming, friendly and helpful with local recommendations! Lots of parking available and good central location in town. Room was good. Only “issue” was my toilet was constantly running. If I’m ever in Brookings again, I would stay again!”

“I really enjoyed the location since it is right on the beach. However, the property was a lot more worn down than the pictures showed. Everything is outdated. The exterior needs fresh paint and the grounds don’t look maintained. The room was clean and suited our needs. But the beds and furniture look old and outdated too. I definitely expected more given the price. It is summer so the price per night is on the higher side right now.”

“I was really disappointed with this hotel. I didn’t expect much with the low price, but I wish we had stayed somewhere else. There was a broken down van outside our bathroom window, and the reception area needs a good cleaning. My biggest issue was how thin the walls were. We could hear the next room talking, digging around in ice in their cooler, and even the buttons on the microwave. I would definitely stay somewhere else next time.”

“By far one of the better motel experiences I've had. Stayed in a Motel 6 the night before and could clearly tell a difference: room felt cleaner, was larger, and the shower didn't have stains. Lots of parking available too. I also appreciated the light breakfast offered with fruit, cereals, juices, milk, coffee, granola bars, and toast. “This is a mediocre motel. Rooms are tiny, no fridge, no air conditioner, just a fan. No breakfast, no pool. The owner who checked us in was quite nice, and gave us an idea for dinner. But we paid the most for a motel in this tourist town and got the least for it on this trip.”
