“The hotel itself is charming with a lovely courtyard and it is walking distance to several excellent restaurants. We were there on a weekend and they may have been short staffed but our room wasn’t serviced even though I was assured it would be. The main problem was that the room itself was tiny. There was only one chair and no desk or table. The TV was on the far wall and the only way to watch it would have been to stand in the doorway to the room.”

“Super cute atmosphere. We enjoyed the decor and unique art. Overall, the room was clean, but some things were in disrepair (exhaust fan and light in bathroom). The food was good, but the kitchen and dining service was lackluster. It was our first time to Richmond, so we didn’t know what to expect, the neighborhood is a mixed bag.”

“For the price we paid, the amenities did not meet our expectations. Breakfast was not included, and not even complimentary bottled water was provided. There was no on-site parking available, so we had to park on the street. Additionally, the beds were very small and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, we expected a much better experience for the price”

“Clean and good location other than noise. It’s on the corner of a busy road so there was some traffic noise. Not sure why Expedia is prompting for balcony review since there wasn’t one in my 2 queen room.”

“Our newly renovated room was fantastic and we enjoyed the balcony! I also really liked having a bath robe and luxurious shower products. The location near the canal walk was also nice for my dogs. Staff were friendly!”

“Superb accommodations and great value. I am sure the rates will be going up soon. This is my first choice for all of Richmond.”

“Had a great time with the pinball machines and game systems! Kids loved them too! And it was a great location right by the highway, but in a quiet neighborhood.”
