"It was an unforgettable stay . The Domaine itself is a unique property with a lot of land to explore, and you can also use their amazing facilities like gorgeous fitness, tennis, badminton, pool, etc. The room was perfect in every way: lighting, comfort of the bed, linens, huge, very well lit bathroom. "Very good experience. Only negative was that you’re not allowed to take dogs with you to sit at the breakfast restaurant tables. However, you’re allowed to take dogs for with you for breakfast in the area with sofas within the restaurant. Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Convenient position for the motorway A20. My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France.
They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms.
There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa.
I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

"We stayed in a studio which slept 4, it was ideal for our family. Very well equipped rooms with everything you could need. We used the spa which was a bonus, very clean and quiet although on the small side it was very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and helpful "

"You get what you pay for. This served the purpose we wanted. Cheap and cheerful and did the job. No facilities in the room but there was a drinks vending machine downstairs you can use during reception opening hours. Air con was an added bonus. Plenty of restaurants close by and there is also a Lidl. Good bus service on that road too. I would use again for a quick stopover at that price."

"Great stay right in Limoges centre! I love the big room with a terrace facing the square. Staffs were kind and helpful from dining choices to booking a taxi to the airport. I didn’t eat there so no comment on food. I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Thank you."
