There was no working hot tub, which is why we booked it. The room was dark, unpleasant and looked nothing like any of the pictures. There was no kitchen facilities except a fridge which wasn't turned on. The room smelled extremely strongly of cleaning chemical, but the room itself was dirty- there was hair on the shower for example. The lack of hot pool was disappointing, but we actually couldn't stay- the smell was overpowering and the room was unhygenic. We were not given a refund, so I recommend looking at this place before booking / paying for it. The man who was working there was very lovely and I believe he was rushed off his feet this day.

Room could use a ventilation system as the room had a lot of condensation. Extractor fan in bathroom required as it got quite steamed up with use. There was an unpleasant odor on last morning from the bathroom. Smelt like stale water sitting in drains. Room was clean and tidy. We got what we paid for and were very happy with our stay.

Arrived in New Zealand a few weeks ago. Gov. said anyone arriving in last 2 weeks would have to self quarantine for 2 weeks. (We found out from an I-site that we were still ok to travel). We had decided that if we had to quarantine, we would choose the Casa Bella Motel. We had stayed here 2 nights last year and liked it that much! Good internet, expanded cable channel and great staff. Will be back next year.
