"Spotlessly clean room. Heater was brought to us immediately, since it is cool in January. Hotel staff were endlessly polite and helpful. "We had an amazing 2 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a very quiet part of town near the Secretariat building and across the street from the former king’s palace complex. We were told that the building was a guest house for royal guests. The building has 5 floors and each floor has 4-5 rooms, all with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the top floor with access to the terrace. Be aware that there is no elevator. The staff was very friendly and nice. There are no eating places nearby...

"The room was fine , staff is very caring, breakfast and dinner both very good. The view from the room is decent. The building does not have and heating so it gets quite cold. For the room they provide portable heater. But the hotel is nowhere near the city center, it is a 25 minute drive to the city center. Also a l9t of construction going on the hotel's street. "

"It is a good hotel with good location. You can walk to MG road. Restaurant is good.The staff is excellent especially Bikash who went out of his way to help. Their outsourced travel service is a weak link. Transfer from Bagdogra to hotel was disappointing with a rash driver and a small taxi with poor springs that made for a very uncomfortable trip on a bumpy road. We were promised a trip to Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir but the driver would not go to Baba Mandir. I would look for another travel...
