"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean, quiet and a great location for touring downtown Santiago. The hotel restaurant and bar provided great service and the prices were very reasonable."

" The hotel’s grounds, location and facilities (especially the pool) provide a level of peaceful serenity one does not expect to encounter when staying in the middle of a large metropolitan city. The staff were very helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and well serviced throughout our stay. Only thing my wife and I didn’t care for was the layout of our bathroom which was a bit odd, I’d request a room with an additional or sink/vanity not in the bedroom if I were to visit again and a toilet door that closed completely. The private outdoor jacuzzi tub was a very nice touch though. "

"The staff at Castillo Rojo was super helpful and friendly - really great service orientation. The hotel was charming and the inner patio was a cool place to wind down after traveling that day. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was good, nestled in a colorful neighborhood with many eateries and near the base of Cerro San Cristobal (a must-visit in Santiago). Didn't check out breakfast as we had a very early departure but they kindly made us a to-go bag! Perfect place to stay!"

"We had a lovely stay. Location was central to sites we enjoyed (we love walking as we explore a city). Close to start of free walking tour, museums (including Naruda’s home) and other fun spots. We also found some great food in the Listarria area. Gelato across street was perfection. The service at the hotel is great (we splurged for a massage as well -ah nice). We really enjoyed food at breakfast and for 3 dinners (roof top setting was beautiful). Everyone was so helpful. The library offers a wonderful spot to unwind. Architecture of building is stunning. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice toiletries (including body lotion!). We slept really well. Very happy I chose to stay here!"

"it was advertised. I thought it was a motel when I went looking for it was very difficult to find instructions on getting in was hard when I got there there was no parking I had to park in the garage $21. No shampoo just didn’t feel like it was ready for people to stay. The apartment was nice, but I wasn’t happy with the situation."
