"The property is extremely well located near the start of the old town and was walkable to everywhere. Our room was small but very lovely and when we stuck our heads out of the window, we had an amazing view of the old town! The only problem was parking - we couldnt find any bc of a festival - but thats not the hotels fauot! Just be a bit organsjed - and i recommend parking behind the bus terminal (Eu10 per day)."

"This is such a cute fun traditional Tuscan place to stay! Everywhere you look is an amazing view. The dinner was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was super comfortable. The room, while rustic and vintage, was very nice. It was so peaceful and quiet! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the drive through Tuscany to get there. Bonus that it’s near Maximus’s house from the gladiator movie sights!"

"This place is magical. Simple seeming at first whe. You realize this villa has been in the family for 12 generations and all of the magnificent art work and wall and ceiling decoration is newly restored and from the Renaissance. This boutique hotel is absolutely unique. Recently renovated and restored it’s modern and well updated. Yet the charm is its authentic historic feel. The rooms are huge. Ricardo is a perfect host. Il Pozzo, the restaurant on the lower level and also newly renovated, is fantastic. Owned by one of the oldest wine families in the region it pays homage to their deep heritage. The food is likely the best in beautiful Montepulciano. "

"Perfect location - could walk everywhere. Roberto and his wife were incredible hosts. They treated us like family. They served us a delicious breakfast, gave us information about restaurants and wine tastings, provided help with transportation. We hope to return soon. This place is a gem. The hosts make it very special. "
