โPlace looks tiny from the outside but inside is spacious with 2 courtyards. Beautiful room with great AC. Included towels and beach towels. Bed was soft. Microwave in common area. Mini fridge in room. Shower pressure was just ok, but that isnโt a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are going to be coming in early for a cruise, as they will store your luggage and itโs really close to port. Very clean! โ
โStayed at Casa Isabel for one night, love this multigenerational Boricua family owned/run place. Comfortable and clean, the beds could use an upgrade for a multi night stay but for one night last minute trip to see Benito at La Residencia, this was perfect. Location is stellar - one block from beach in one direction and Beboโs/Calle Loiza in the other. Loved having the beach chairs / gear to borrow, made it easy to have a morning at beach in my whirlwind 24 hours. Margie the owner is friendly...
โThe property was very nice and accommodating. Do be aware that if you are utilizing the second bed in the loft, that you definitely need to be in good shape and not afraid of heights to climb the tall metal ladder! That was the only thing that was a little shocker! Once youโre up there, though, itโs very comfortable.
And the crew and team there are very polite and accommodating, and most helpful in every way! They offer free water and there is coffee available as well.โ
โThe Armas Hotel is a great choice if youโre looking for a clean, efficient place to stay right in the heart of Old San Juan. The room I had was definitely on the smaller side, so itโs not the kind of hotel where youโd lounge around for long stretchesโbut it was spotless and well kept.
