"This place might have been nice 10-15 years ago but it’s in desperate need of a complete makeover!! It’s a totally rundown property. They have basically zero amenities besides a few old kayaks, and overused board games in the lobby area. The pools are tiny and crowded and the lounge chairs are really gross and dirty. They could not possibly be more any more worn out and uncomfortable.
The hotel actually allowed some rude guests to come out early in the AM to place towels or personal items, placing a hold over the very small number of chairs with any shade. Many of which remained unused the entire day.
The location is terrible because there is absolutely nothing nearby to do. The commute to the property from downtown or Casco Viejo after 4.00 takes 2 hours plus due to extreme traffic conditions and it’s the same going into town in the morning if you are planning a trip into downtown or anywhere be prepared.
The staff were all very nice, but this is the worst ‘resort’ I’ve ever stayed in. They should change the name from Dreams to Nightmares!"
