Mucho ruido y música en alta voz hasta la madrugada. Actividades nocturnas en la azotea terraza. No hay paneles acústicos que minimizen el ruido. Asiste mucha gente (no huespedes) que dejan sucio el elevador y las areas comunes huelen mal. La recepción cierra temprano en la noche.

Overall my stay was pleasant small boutique hotel. The staff was nice and the area is very cool, lots of restaurants and nightlife.

Great Stay in Old Town

Great stay in Casco Viejo. The Casa Antigua is in a great location, has large well maintained rooms and the staff was on point. Franco works the front desk in the evenings and is a big help if you need anything, new remote, lock help, local spots to try, etc.. Would have no issues going back next time i'm in PC.

It was a really great stay. The only negative was that we could hear the rooftop bar quite late at night. Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel in a cool area.

To our surprise, while checking in we were informed that we booked 2 rooms. It was very weird as the manager kept insisting that we were going to pay for 2 rooms. It was only me and my wife and I assured manager that we had only booked one room. Trying to not be confrontational in a foreign country, I told the manager I'd work it out with Expedia. On the same day in Sept 2019, we booked our full Panama trip, including the plane tickets to & from Panama, a separate hotel for the 1st part, another plane ticket to and from David and then a booking at Casa Antigua for the last 2 days of our trip. Towards the end of December 2019, an additional room was booked at Casa Antigua, of which we did not make & received no email notice that it was. We wouldn't have made this booking because it was just me and my wife traveling and we had our trip fully booked back in September. We tried to call Expedia from Panama, but the company does not accept 800 calls internationally and the chat option resulted in no response. Once we returned to the US, we called Expedia and customer service did send a wavier request to the hotel. It's been 10 days since starting the process and Expedia can not get a response from the hotel. Its a bit frustrating because the hotel appeared to be empty (the second "booked" room wasn't preventing the hotel from renting) and both times to the roof top bar resulted in us leaving because no one was up there. Very disappointed...best to book somewhere else.

Always enjoy Hotel Casco Antigua

We really like the location, the staff are nice and rooms comfortable. It is an old building which is eclectic but if soon money spent on minor repairs could be much nicer. Suites with balcony overlooking casco very fun. New elevator very appreciated and rooftop bar has great views. Basic breakfast tasty. Valet parking a bonus and cheap.

Water issue on our second night

Unfortunately on our second night. There is no water in the room. The front desk is closed. We need to wait till morning before the issue can be settled. Phoned the front desk around 7:45am. Answer back the handyman is coming at 8:30am. Talk to the cleaner of the room around 8am. Water start to come out for only for an hour and loss again. Phoned again the front desk and said there is an issue with water tank and water pressure. We are catching a flight that day and its very unfortunate for us. Can it be preventable? Of course yes.

Realmente fue una muy buena experiencia. un pequeño detalle es que como el area es el casco antiguo de la ciudad, el hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento, pero hay disponible a un par de cuadras del hotel. por lo demás, muy bueno y lo recomiendo. no se arrepentiran de disfrutarlo.

The location in the old section of the city was good. The property, as with all properties in the area, was renovated and in reasonably good condition. The unit was apartment style with main floor bath and loft bedroom with bath. We used only the lower bath which only had hot water for a few minutes if at all. Also, curiously, the bath had a window to the hallway near the elevator which we had to block the view. The second day the lower bath had to no bath towels. The air conditioner in the bedroom blew directly onto the bed which made the temperature and comfort of the room difficult to manage. Staff was nice and friendly but only available from 2-8. Other than the odd issues, which were not deal breakers, our stay was okay.

Very friendly staff, great location, huge 1 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with full kitchen, balcony with spectacular views. Great rooftop bar. Could be a little cleaner, but i am not the kind of person that complains about dust here and there. Overall i would recommend it

Ok - Need to work on customer service

Before reading the below it does appear that the owners are upgrading a lot of this building, so some of the below may be resolved in near future. Pros - The Place was spacious and the location is great. Cons - The nightclub next door may keep you up if you’re a light sleeper. The bed may also do that, suspect it’s a very old mattress. Our room had 2 showers and they couldn’t get the hot water working on either. They attempted to fix it but couldn’t get it working properly. No compensation or discounts offered. Even charged $10 USD for washing after they couldn’t fix the hot water.
