Better than the larnaca crown resorts

Great location. WiFi was good on the first day then went downhill from there. TV only had one English channel (news) both local channels (pik 1&2) we're missing. Teas coffees and water in room were only available on the first day. Coffee and tea was available at breakfast but was hit and miss either too strong or to weak (chef's choice not yours). Breakfast select was good. Covid restrictions we're advised but not policed.

Family holiday

The hotel location is fantastic and Bus services are cheap and reliable (so no need for taxis ) hotel is dated however and needs modernising ( the rooms in particular need updating and must include better air con and a fridge and water on daily basis ) In hotels defence its still very quite due to COVID 19 and the staff made it far more enjoyable whilst we were there.

Ein schon in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, dessen Zimmer dem heutigen Standard angepasst werden müssten. Pool war ok, aber trotz wenigen Gästen nicht wirklich sauber. Das Büffet am Morgen und am Abend war fade und nicht frisch zubereitet. Die Küchenkraft war super freundlich und bemüht, der Kellner mürrisch und wortkarg. Aufgrund der Top Lage sind wir geblieben. Die Spa Abteilung hat allein den Aufenthalt wieder lohnenswert gemacht. Die Gesichtsbehandlung und Massage waren ein Traum. Das Personal dort war supernett und aufmerksam. Ein großes Dankeschön!

Petty extra costs in tired looking "4 star" hotel

Hotel clearly in need of a total refurbishment. They really are angled at the all inclusive market rather than B&B as we were. Extra costs were irritating: want to use your room safe? That will be 2.65 euro per day. Want your tea & coffee facilities in room replaced each day? That will be 2.40 per day. Silly stuff that belies its self proclaimed 4* status. Wifi was free but unusable in our room. Tip: best reception was in the lobby and the restaurant. Staff always polite as they advise you how much you will have to pay if you want those little services you would have expected to be free. Perhaps not surprisingly the hotel is being sold at auction in March. Any new owner will have to invest heavily to bring it up to a true 4* standard. However, its location is great and it could be a marvellous rival to its swisher neighbour hotels. But not as it currently is. It looked fairly full at breakfast time though so perhaps others see it differently. I would not stay there again as it currently looks and operates.

The only positive's are the position of the Crown Resorts Horizon and the staff. The negatives are endless. This is def not a 4* possible 2/3. The roons are very grubby and need decorating, the room was covered wjth ants worse still cockroaches down the corridor. The lifts are touch and go quite a few people got stuck. There is an awful smell of sewage which was reported by various people but nothing seemed to be done. Corridor bins not emptied. There is too many things to mention. Would def NOT recommend this hitel i feel totally ripped off

Skulle säga 2,5-stjärnigt

Fin pool och trädgård. Utöver det är hotellet inte i närheten av ett 4-stjärnigt hotell. Frukosten var inte något man såg fram emot, kalla pannkakor, man kunde inte ens se vad äggröran skulle föreställa. Besticken och glasen var alltid smutsiga så alla använde plastmuggar vid frukosten. Mycket var trasigt, juicemaskinen och behållarna för müslin var trasiga, de flesta maskinerna på gymmet var trasiga. Mögel i vårt badrum var det värsta, samt väldigt dammigt. Min pojkvän råkade röra dörrkarmen och då flög det ner stora dammråttor.. Annars bra läge nära till stranden och många restauranger.

The choice and quality of food was excellent and staff were pleasant and helpful. Very large and comfortable bed, linen changed daily. No tea, coffee or milk in room except on arrival. The air conditioned rooms were very welcome as we had high temperatures during our stay

Poorly maintained but good location

The room was old, not very well-maintained, not very well-serviced. When I checked in, I found there were some tissue trash in the bin in bathroom; carpet is very old and felt a bit moist; a free bottle water is provided but only on the first day; there was no TV but only a small monitor that has 12 cable channels. Check-in counter lady staff was very considerate and professional. Lobby was very warm and not well airconditioned (because they keep most of the doors open). Waiting for taxi in the lobby and eating dinner in the lobby area made me sweat because it was very warm. Wi-fi was very bad, often it cuts and I couldn't use it. Every night, from 8 - 11pm, there was a loud event near the pool with a singing and some kind of lotto numbers being shouted on speaker and music. Location was good, near the beach and walking distance to a nice cafe (from front gate) and many restaurants (from back gate) nearby. There is also a reasonable local supermarket to buy sandwich, drinks or snacks.

Πολύ ακριβά τα ποτά κι τα παγωτά.. περιορισμένο το entertainment στο ξενοδοχείο. Γενικά δεν θα το επελέγαμε ξανά ....

Ωραιοι χωροι..ανετο δωματιο. Δεν υπηρχε ψυγειο στο δωματιο. Ωραιες πισινες αλλα το νερο θολο και χωρις ναυαγοσωστη.Το βαθος ομως ηταν ιδανικο για μικρα παιδια. Το φαγητο αρκετα καλο. Το χειροτερο ηταν οτι δεν υπηρχε καθολου wifi στο δωματιο.

The pool was unusable. It was empty. There were no kettles in the room. You had to rent them! Although we went all inclusive you had to pay 8 euros to use the snooker balls! Daylight robbery. The food was awful. Would not go back there again.

Going downhill fast

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and have been happy there, unfortunately this time we were rather disappointed with the condition of the hotel and the lack of serving staff, although the staff tried very hard they could not cover for the shortfall.

Pleasant modern hotel not far from beach with a nice pool area. Breakfast is a let down with poor cooked choices. The staff often look unhappy and communication is difficult.

Air con disaster

Hotel was ok apart from the air conditioning breaking down in our room. Having a 1 year old with us, we had to get another room with working air con. It was a bit of hassle as I had to move the cot from 1 room to the other. Plus the 2nd room was not sea view which we'd paid for. Apart from that, the hotel was good.
