Porto Bello Royal - All inclusive

"Disappointed to be honest. First gripe is that although the actual resort is lovely, pools maintained well and lots of them, beach is good, it is directly under the flight path and there are a LOT of flights coming in and out all day long. Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss and one of our rooms didn’t have the drinks stocked once during our 10 day stay which was annoying. Booking restaurants was a bit frustrating because you always had to go to reception, could only book 2 days ahead and the reception always took a loooong time. The food was dreadful though which is the main disappointment, didn’t have a single good meal. Selection wasn’t great and seemed like everything had been heated up from the freezer section, we ate out many times. Also frustrating when the website advertises access to the waterpark at the affiliate hotel next door but upon arrival we were told that we had to pay an entry fee and our wristbands didn’t even make us eligible for drinks on-site. Not a big deal perhaps but very misleading. It was a pleasant stay but I wouldn’t go back."

"Incredible hotel, incredible staff. Dimitri is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. My room was cleaned immaculately everyday, the pool and restaurant area are well maintained and inviting, the breakfast is delicious and the hotel sources a lot of the ingredients for the breakfast from their farm and the hotel property itself, fruits, eggs, goat milk, the jams/marmalades etc. I highly recommend staying here on this beautiful incredible part of the Island. The western part of the Island has so many amazing beaches, food and more importantly amazing people."

"We loved the self service stations for food whenever, and the number of bars was also great. Loved the number of pools and our private one with access to bigger pool was perfect. Only bad thing was We did the Candle Light dinner, which they forgot to setup when we arrived, so had to come set it up whilst we waited watching, forgot the candles, fairy lights didn’t work etc. Food was good at least. They kindly refunded half the amount due to this which made it worth the money in the end."

"This was a beautiful hotel and the room was stunning. Huge bathroom with separate toilet and shower cubicles. Great sea view and big balcony. Had welcome gifts of a bottle Prosecco and a bottle of red wine as well as a bottle of water with a personalised note. Staff were so friendly and helpful at every encounter even just walking around the complex. Variety of choice for food and high quality restaurants definitely worth visiting. Leaving gift of lavender before checkout again with a personalised handwritten note. All in all, a great stay"

"This was our first time in Kos. Staff were very helpful. Lovely hotel . Relaxing break. My son has allergies the head chef met with us every meal time to inform us what food was served and what would be appropriate for my son . Thank you for a lovely stay"

"We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff at reception, the bars and restaurants were very helpful and friendly. We used the beach more than the pool but both were excellent. Although there was was only one restaurant, the buffet served different meals throughout our holiday. There was also pizza and gyros available at the beach."
