While I was a guest at the hotel, the main lobby was gutted and major construction work was undertaken to redo the whole entrance to the hotel. From 8:30 am until about 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, the noise of power tools was reverberating through the whole building. It was quite difficult to work or take a nap during that time. Hallways and elevators were obviously also affected by dust and dirt from the construction. When I complained about not giving been forewarned about the impending construction work when I made my reservations through EXPEDIA, the hotel informed me that I should have checked their website, where it was supposedly mentioned. I did not feel that the hotel reached out to its guests to make any type of amends.

Staff were pleasant, rooms need updating and properly cleaned, a lot of scuff marks and general dusty, there is an unpleasant odor in the entire property and at the moment the only washrooms available on the ground floor are around the back of the property as the ones within the hotel are under repair, the bar by the pool was not open and in general the food was only average, not a lot of choice especially on the room service.
