The location is excellent, especially if shopping is one of the main purposes of your stay. It was very convenient to be able to return to the hotel and drop off our shopping bags, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Marais area itself can be extremely busy and crowded, but once inside the hotel, it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel has a charming, almost hidden-away feel, and the room was compact but nicely designed. Breakfast was fairly similar each day, but we appreciated having it included, especially considering the cost of eating out in Paris. The staff were friendly and attentive. They checked with guests during breakfast to see if anything was needed, responded properly to our requests, and communication by email was also very good. On our last day, they kindly allowed us to leave our large suitcases in the small reception area after check-out and provided us with a security code so that we could access the reception area later to collect them. One thing to be aware of is that the reception is only staffed during certain hours. This worked fine for us, but travelers who feel more comfortable having staff available at all times may want to keep this in mind. The other point worth mentioning is the shower, which has no door. This may not bother everyone, but it is something to be aware of. Overall, if you are comfortable with the limited reception hours and the shower design, this is a charming and very conveniently located place to stay in the Marais.

The property is in the most perfect walkable location in Le Marais. The staff were very lovely and the breakfast was great, much better than any other included hotel breakfast I’ve had. Our AC did not work, so the room was quite warm, but things happen and I’m sure it will be repaired promptly. This is not a property for anyone with any mobility issues as there is a steep spiral stair set upon entry. Also be aware staff are not present on site after 1300 daily. Overall very cute property, would definitely consider staying there again.

This is a very small, intimate establishment. The room was large and the location was in the heart of Paris nightlife. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. The room was air conditioned which was good because with the windows open at night, the active nightlife might keep you awake. The only thing to keep in mind; it is on the first floor with no elevator and the stairway was dark and narrow. As an elderly traveler I found this intimidating but not impossible.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the room and the overall facility. The breakfast were really great. The staff was quite helpful. The bathroom was fun and stylish and the bedroom was large enough. We were amazed at how well the closed windows shut out and street noise. One thing for future travelers to know is that, true to its name, the property is on the first floor up from street level. There is a fairly narrow circular stairway one needs to navigate to get to the property on the first floor. We are older and it was a little challenging but nothing that was us to give the property for review. We’d really enjoyed it and we’ll go back.

this is, as many say, a little gem. each room is decorated carefully, the bedding, bed, and bathroom are all comfortable and well tought out. coffee, tea and cookies are available 24/7 and an ample breakfast is included in the price, served in the sitting area. there is often no one at the reception desk, which can feel odd, but you can leave your luggage early and it will magically appear in your room when you come back. the location is great and the staff is kind.

Lovely little hotel

Such a lovely place to stay in a great location. The room was a good size and beautifully decorated with lots of little extra touches included. The shower was also really good. Breakfast was included although I just had a drink which they allowed me to take to my room. It’s not your usual hotel but for me that didn’t matter, the receptionist was really friendly and was there in the morning for check out so I could leave my bag. The check in instructions were really clear and I thought it was easy to find. The corridor off the Main Street is dark but there is a light switch as soon as you walk in. Would definitely stay here again

ABsolutely wonderful place in a great neighborhood. Super quiet in the room with no outside noise and the breakfasts were excellent. Fantastic location and the owners and staff were wonderful hosts and so helpful and did not even laugh at my terrible French! Book this place and you won't be disappointed!
