We had a great 2-night stay at Grand Hôtel Français. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering lots of useful tips and suggestions for our visit. The location was also very convenient, with a metro station nearby that made getting around Paris easy. We would happily stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. The hotel was clean, with beautiful linens and a friendly welcome on arrival. The location is close to plenty of restaurants and feels removed from the main tourist crowds, which we really appreciated. It’s about 20–40 minutes from Paris’s main attractions, so that may be worth considering depending on your plans, but we found the Metro easy and convenient to use. We’d happily stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night after our long flight to Europe. It was perfect for a quick and easy place to land to get settled. It was a quiet spot, didn’t hear anything from the road. Free and functional wifi. English speaking staff. The room itself was pretty small, but it was perfect for a place to land at the end of a long day. I felt relatively safe in and around the area. Would go back!

The best thing about this place is the location - every important thing is up to 30 minutes away and clise by are some nice little restaurants. The breakfast is also fine, and the rooms are well air-conditioned. But the place is NOISY. You can hear everything from the street even on the fifth floor (and the street is noisy even at night), and you can hear everything above a normal sneeze from the neighboring rooms. In addition, the curtains don't go down to the floor or the sides, so you can guarantee sunshine in the morning to wake you up. So if you're planning to sleep in - this is not a place for you. The first room we got was dirty beyond normal housekeeping, but we got a different room the day after, so that was solved pretty easily.

Room (11sq meters) sounds small but was very efficiently laid out and appeared recently renovated. Welcome drink in the lobby bar and very professional staff were an added pleasure.

Arrived late but front desk was staffed and very helpful. Having a lift was very convenient as well. Room was clean, washroom was decently maintained with good working air conditioning. Breakfast was good! Checked out at 12pm but they had luggage storage which I used until 2pm. Very nice location (11th APR) which had local spots for food and shops with metro access and bus stop close by! Would definitely stay here again

An exceptional, charming, small independent hotel. Staff is wonderful, room is large, laundry service is included. This was such a lucky find, and I will absolutely stay there again when I come back to Paris, and will highly recommend the Grand Hotel Francais to everyone!

We love this charming boutique hotel and have stayed here on several occasions. We have chosen this hotel in particular because the manger and staff are so helpful and welcoming. This is truly the highlight of staying here. The rooms are comfortable, and the location is great. It is easy to get to any part of the city you would like to visit, and the neighborhood has many innovative and creative restaurants. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The welcome drink is a kind welcome, the breakfast is tasty and the staff is friendly! Room is clean (a bit small but it’s common in Paris), bed sleeps great and the shower is powerful. And the neighborhood is pretty quiet, which is nice after you’ve been downtown with another zillion people. We recommend this place for sure.
