Great, charming little hotel for our weeklong stay

We stayed in Paris for a week to attend a friend's wedding. We really loved Lux Hotel - it was small and charming, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect for what we needed - a place to crash at night. Nearly all the concierge staff spoke English and were helpful with recommendations and directions. The street the hotel is located on is rather quiet and safe, and the hotel itself is a 5-7 minute walk from a major metro stop, Nation, which has access to several different metro lines. Super easy to get around from the hotel and some decent little restaurants near by, too! Would absolutely stay here again should we find ourselves in Paris.

Fabulous stay, upgraded to a double bed room and the beds were so comfortable. The room was in the back of the hotel and overlooked a courtyard that quiet. The AC was COLD! Had to turn it down. Room was clean and staff very friendly and spoke English. Walk to metro was about 5 minutes through a nice park where we get grab and go pastries and sandwiches and eat on a shaded park bench. I would stay again.

Although there were some mechanical issues with the elevator and slow sync, the experience was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a very good room for three people.

Comfortable, but a bit small

Lovely hotel. Rooms are Parisien-sized. The bed ( which was king or queen sized ) took up most of the room. The room had AC and heater, a small desk and open closet. Very small shower, and bathroom though. I'm 6.1, 180lbs and could just fit comfortably. Amazing for one person, even if you want to stay in and work for a bit ( good WiFi ). A bit on the small end for a couple, unless the goal is to have a good bed to sleep in in a nice part of town. For my needs 5/5

The location was near the metro as well as a good area to find food. the staff was always friendly and helpful. the room itself was very tiny. It was difficult to shut the bathroom door while inside, for example, small. But we were there to see the city not sit in a hotel room, so it fit our needs!

Friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioner working well. They let us store our suitcases at the hotel before checking-in and there were 5 of us! The metro stop is right around the corner. Safe walkable neighborhood. 35 minutes from Orly airport. We only stayed for one night but I would recommend.

It was our first trip to paris. We found the hotel to be good value, in an area of lovely tree lined roads. A selection of cafe's and bars with a couple of small supermarkets - one organic. Easy 5 minute walk to Nation, the nearest metro and from there a ten minute journey i to the centre of paris - really good location. The stafe were helpful and the room - although very small, was clean a pleasantly decorated - the building was very French which for us was important. Altogether a very positive experience and we would choose this hotel again.

In general the hotel was clean and the front desk help was courteous. That said, the room size was very small as was the elevator. The WI-FI was terrible !!! I would not stay here again. The location was good, close to restaurants, bakeries, and metro stations. There are several alternatives hotels available in the same location that I would investigate if I were to consider a return to the area.

We could not stay here and had to leave and stay somewhere else. My partner is 6ft 3. He could not fit on the bed or into the shower as so small. The rooms are tiny and not very clean. The man on the check in desk was lovely and attempted to find another room but was not possible. It is not well described online and is extremely over priced for a shoebox. Also it states parking included but does not inform you that this has to be booked in advance. So we parked down the road which was €32 overnight.

Bon sejour d,'1 nuit dans cet hotel. Chambre donnant sur cour très calme. Literie correcte. Salle de bain très très petite : toilette et lavabo vraiment très proches. Tres bon rapport qualité prix pour tarif environ 100€ la nuit. J'ai pris le PDJ, mais je déconseille, beaucoup trop cher (15€) pour ce qu'il y a et la qualité.
