Very kind and helpful staff. We had two fans that helped us survive the heat. The furniture in the rooms is comically small though.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Walled OFF Hotel. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel has an older, classic character, but I actually loved that about it. They’ve done a beautiful job of preserving that old-world charm while keeping everything comfortable and well cared for. It gives the hotel a lovely museum-like feel and so much more personality than a modern, generic hotel. The atmosphere is warm, charming, and unique, and the people make the experience even better. I would definitely give this hotel 5 stars and would happily stay here again when I’m back in Paris. The location is amazing close to everything. It’s not your typical luxury 5 star hotel but it’s more the artistic one and for the nightly rate it’s very good❤️

Excellent budget option in the 9th arrondissement. Nothing fancy, but it offers friendly staff, loads of food & drink options nearby and is handy for the Metro. The room was clean and quiet - it didn’t have full AC but there was a fan to help cool it.

Misleading as it’s more of a hostel than a hotel. Name should reflect that. Very friendly staff though.

Cute little hostel lookalike hotel. Great location and wonderful staff. The internet could work better, but we didn't need it that much. We didn't get their breakfast, but found cute spots near by. We had a great stay and will come back!

Great little Banksy inspired hotel, with his art in every room, and a great display in reception. Great, central location which ideal for walking around the city.

For the price, this is great. Small, aging rooms with a few dents and scratches. BUT, the towels and linens were clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had two comfortable nights here. Plus, the staff were so kind and helpful AND it was in a strategic location for tourists like us. If you’re looking for a place to hang out all day, this isn’t it. But if you need a budget place to sleep at night, c’est magnifique!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was small but functional. Very quiet and bed was super comfortable. Breakfast hit the spot. Great deal for a Paris stay. Super close to metro stop. Would stay again if I'm in the area.

Absolutely brilliant hotel! Clean, wonderfully decorated, delicious breakfast, PERFECT location (20 mins walk from the Louvre, the Seine and Sacre Coeur), but most importantly the staff were the best we have ever experienced at a hotel. They were super kind and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I read some reviews about noise, but the hotel was super quiet even though it was near a bustling street. The location is perfect for some really amazing restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and pharmacies and tonnes of places to eat out. Special mention to Passage du Verdout, which is a minute away and has lovely vintage, toy and book shops and loads of nice restaurants if you continue onto the next two passages. I would highly recommend the Walled off Hotel, for the staff alone, felt like true 5 star service!

Visited in mid-January. Clean and comfortable bed and small cozy room. Great location. Staff were courteous. Basic toiletries provided. No tea or coffee. Recommend closing the toilet seat while showering because there are no shower curtains. Bring shower shoes. There was a bar across the street from our room that makes a lot of noise until 6 am so bring earplugs. Room gets very warm so recommend opening the window.

Everything was totally fine except my room had the smell of a dead animal and I couldn’t get it to go away. Everything else was in line with expectations, great location too. If they could just tackle that issue we’d have a much better review.

Ups and downs, but good overall :)

We stayed here twice in October, on our train travels round France. The first time they messed up our booking and gave our "superior" room to someone else(!), leaving us with a smaller "standard" room. They offered us free entry to the Banksy museum as an apology but we didn't have time to do it, so a bit of a disappointment there. The bathroom also had a bad smell that first time. BUT the beds were comfortable, the Banksy theme was fun, the prices weren't too bad, the location was really handy for Gare du Nord, the staff were friendly and the ethos of the place seemed good. Our second visit was much better - they hadn't given our room away this time(!) and the bad bathroom smell was gone. Also, we had been a bit freaked out by the massive media hype about bedbugs in Paris, so were relieved to find this place was completely bedbug-free :) Which is probably true for most Paris hotels (the whole thing seems to be exaggerated really) but was still very much appreciated by us on this occasion...!

BE WARY - We left after one night. I'll start with the negatives. We were there during the heatwave and without air conditioning the room was uninhabitable. It was extremely hot and we had to leave the windows open, but the noise on the street was ridiculous. There was shouting outside all night, and a combination of that and the heat meant it was impossible to sleep. Further we asked for additional fans which we did not get, and there is no fridge so no way to keep anything cool. We left after the first night, and full disclosure asked for a refund which we didn't get. The room itself is much smaller than the photos would suggest, with the bed pushed up right against the wall, and very difficult access for the toilet. You may struggle if youre plus sized. The room and hotel itself is rough around the edges when you start looking. I think a fair comparison would be more like private rooms within a lower tier hostel than a hotel. I've stayed in hostels around the world, theres nothing wrong with that, just know what youre letting yourself in for. The pros - The bed was fairly comfortable The front desk staff were friendly, just without ability to put anything right.

I actually didn't feel very safe and left after the first night. I was supposed yo stay 5 nights. Something felt off and I just had to trust my gut. I didn't have high expectations for the room because of the price, but there was so hair and dust on the bed when i checked in. The biggest thing was the feeling of safety for me.

Surrounding area was lively and had a nice vibe. There were many dining options and bars nearby, as well as practical shopping like a pharmacy, Monoprix, grocery store, etc. The interior had nice themed art. 24-hour front desk availability for check-in/out was very useful.
