"All the staff members made our trip warm and welcoming! Great food with amazing views as we are on the patio in the heated tent! For our 4 year anniversary the beach club resort did give us a top floor but unfortunately our room was very dusty, some stains in various places and the balcony had too many cobwebs on the tables and chairs so we didn't use the balcony even though the view was really good. Great walking areas with the wooden boardwalk to walk along the beach. Overall an amazing place for couples and families. Would recommend checking out this resort"

"Stayed in Room 103 May 28-June 2. The room was clean, and linens were clean. Beds were very comfortable! Some small areas of the room (a few spots on the walls, corners of bathroom) could use some attention, and the shower head is kind of low, so for people 5’10 or taller, it would be an awkward shower, but other than that, nothing to complain about! Staff were friendly! There is a Boston Pizza and a Tim Horton’s across the road, easily in walking distance. There is a cannabis store (only mentioning for those who would like to know) and a burger place next door to the hotel. Parksville is a great neutral location to return to after a day of Island Adventures. Definitely recommend this hotel for travellers. If you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room. Upper level are accessible only by stairs. And keep your eyes open for the resident bunnies!"

"The lake view was terrific. The staff nice. The breakfast minimal. The room needs attention.The one bedroom suite needs more furniture....like lamps: needs 2 floor lamps for the living room, table lamp for the desk in the bedroom. Way too dark, wall lamps not bright enough. There used to be lamps before, some time ago. There was only one "end" table to serve as a coffee table and nothing else in the living room with 2 sofa beds. Bathroom needs at least one wall or door clothing hook for a bathrobe or PJs or bath towel. There was only a half finished roll of toilet paper with no spare, had to ask for more and got one roll? Not enough towels in the bathroom, had to ask for 2 more and got one. No soda or candy machines, or small store. Otherwise the room was nice, clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchenette fine. We moved the small dining table and chairs in front of the patio door to admire the view while eating or drinking coffee. The location is great, close to a Mall, with a big food market, drug store, hardware, etc. and close to the highway....but not too close to be bothersome. We often come here and will be back in a couple of weeks for several days, so we like the location and the view. Us retirees need a suite, more comfortable for a longer stay."
