Garden of heaven, on earth

Best stay we have had in a long time. Service is perfect and it’s the most beautiful place. Very close to Parma, however completely quiet and calm. Elena is the best host ever.

A Fairy Tale visit!

Our stay was wonderful! It was clean and comfortable. Manouilla was delightful and gave us background about the building and family. It was decorated with many antiques and heirlooms. She also went out of her way to make us comfortable and even gave suggestions for places to eat, and directions to our tour. Lovely overnight stay!

Lovely stay in residential area just outside Parma. Elena was a vety welcoming and gracious host. She helped with dinner reservations and recommended a guide for food tour of area. Property has lovely outdoor space for warmer weather including outdoor pool. Short stay but would definitely recommend and return in the future.

The property was amazing! Impeccably clean and well kept. We had a very personalized service with a fresh breakfast. We were given recommendations on what to see in Parma. 10 stars! A fantastic start to our Italy trip.

This lovely villa is set in a bucolic neighborhood just a few miles outside of Parma. Elena, the owner and host has made sure each guest is welcomed and pampered with a wonderful breakfast each morning, and ideas and arrangements regarding special culinary tours of the area, or trips to nearby Bologna and Modena. All her staff is as equally charming and engaging as Elena and we missed them all the minute we left. Special bonus, Zoe, the cutest little cocker spaniel ever!

Excellent accomodation near Parma

We had a ery pleasent stay in March 2023. Lovely Elena did the utmost to make our stay memorable - kept the place clean and very well maintained and prepared very good eggs for breakfast. She also served breakfast early in the morning to enable us to attend the tour in San Pier Damiani factory nearby.

Fabulous stay

Fabulous property, lovely garden and pool area. Staff were so friendly and helpful recommending places to visit and booking restaurants for us. Breakfast was fresh and pastries homemade everyday, eggs cooked to order. We couldn’t have asked for more. It was a shame we had to leave. Parma is around 15 minutes drive away so a car is required. Would highly recommend

Nice BnB but not in Parma

Quaint BnB advertised as in Parma. It was a 15’ drive to Parma and outside in a small residential community with limited amenities. We were told they could not give us breakfast due to early nature of our tour. Despite this, one of the guests was enjoying breakfast as we left that morning.

A jewel.

Punctuated by a series of glorious Italian cities, The Via Aemilia runs from Rimini to Piacenza, straight through the agricultural heart of the peninsula. While the landscape isn't particularly thrilling, these exquisite small cities and their amazing art/architecture/food are. And now I will add the Villino Porporano to my list of marvels in Emilia-Romagna. Elegant and refined, this property has it all: lovely, comfortable, thoughtful rooms and common areas, a breakfast buffet worthy of 5 stars, and one of the most lush and seductive gardens I've seen at any small hotel. The proprietess couldn't be kinder or more helpful... and speaks superb english. Zoe, the sweetest cocker spaniel, is also available for cuddles and food-tasting! While it may seem out of the way, it's a quick 7 minute drive to the centro and the autostrada. Absolutely delicious in ever way! 10 stars.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail, eine schöne Oase

Wir waren spontan auf der Durchreise eine Nacht dort. Wir wurden sehr freundliche empfangen und mit sehr guten Tipps fürs Abendessen ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind verspielt, alles bequem und ordentlich. Der Pool im Garten wirkt auf den Fotos grösser als er ist, aber der Garten ist sehr schön. Leider liegt die Unterkunft soweit ausserhalb von Parma, dass man immer ein Auto braucht. Aber wir würden wieder kommen.

Quaint villa tucked away in a quiet town just outside of Parma. Beautifully restored property, large and comfortable bed, nice bathroom with large shower. Loved the natural light coming in from windows and skylights in the room. Elena our host was very welcoming and arranged for a local tour which was fantastic. Fresh pastries, made to order eggs, coffee in the morning all wonderful. Would highly recommend!
