Diana and her staff were amazing. They were all were helpful and easy to find if I needed anything. The space was beautiful and well maintained daily. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wil je ooit een paar dagen in het paradijs verblijven dan zou ik dit hotel overwegen. Ligging is geweldig aan zee op een hele rustige locatie, prachtige lodges die in de Bush liggen waardoor bijvoorbeeld de apen tot dichtbij komen. Een prachtig zwembad met prima ligbedden en ook aan zee de mogelijkheid om op een bedje onder een afdak van palmbladeren te vertoeven. Het enige dat ons tegenviel was het ontbijt dat wel erg mager was voor wat je voor een hotel in deze prijsklasse mag verwachten. Maar verder was het een hele bijzondere ervaring.

Mon copain et moi avons adoré notre séjour au Clandestino Beach Resort. C'est un endroit magnifique, super tranquille, un vrai petit paradis où on peut vraiment décrocher. Un gros merci à Diana, qui est tout simplement adorable. Elle nous a accueillis avec tellement de gentillesse et a contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. On recommande cet endroit sans hésiter et on espère y retourner un jour !

The place is amazing. Is the perfect Costa Rica escape. You have a desert beach a few steps away from you room, the pool is incredible and the isolated vibes is perfect to disconnect from the world. Friendly staff and a big shout out to Diana, the owner, who is very careful and welcoming. The room is great, comfortable and spacious. The only note we have is regarding the shower: the shower wasn’t the best, it was lacking some maintance. Other watch out for people is that to get to the hotel you need to drive by a 5km unpaved road, so it takes a while and make things a bit far, but if you are looking for a disconnection I couldn’t recommend a better place. 100% would stay again.

We wanted a relaxing last couple of days after a longer run around vacation. We loved that we didn’t have to go anywhere and everything and not we needed was found right outside our door. Great location, very nice rooms, and a very private relaxing atmosphere.

We had the most amazing week at Clandestino Beach Resort and can’t wait to you! If you’re looking for easy access to activities around Costa Rica and the perfect home base, you won’t be disappointed! The staff are very kind and helpful, we felt like family by the end of the week! The bungalows were magical and the restaurant was fabulous. The pool and beach were perfect, plus the resort dogs were a true treat!

This was our second stay with Ms. Diana at Clandestino. We love her and the peaceful retreat she has created. My kids are 17 and 9, and they love everything about Clandestino. The pool is amazing. We especially enjoy all Ms. Diana’s adopted furr-babies, including Pippa the raccoon. Everything there is done with love. Cannot wait to return! 💚🌴

Great resort and gread beachside hotel food was great but the long dirt road you have to travel every time to go anywhere suck but the resort itself is fantastic falily atmosphere very friendly and safe and the rooms were very nice and authentic jungle style

This is authentic Costa Rica. Absolutely beautiful property in the world of many critters including dogs, a raccoon, crabs, and crawly critters. It's best to just embrace that factor because if you're looking for a beautiful, off the beaten path stay with the highest quality staff this is your pick. We had a wonderful stay

The room was excellent. Loved that every cabin had a little porch on the front on which the guests could relax. I came to the beach resort to finally have some days without hiking or exploring and it was perfect for getting away from the crowds that exist elsewhere in Costa Rica. It felt like the beach was private. There enough other guests there to keep any lonely vibes away but it was so peaceful. You can hear the constant sound of waves from the beachfront rooms and it's amazing. Very nice place especially for a good price.

The owner Diana and her assistant Joel are wonderful. Diana was so helpful when I received about 30 sand flea bites…not on property btw. Sat on a log on beach watching sunset in a skort! She made something with cloves in it to rub on them. The beach is sooo beautiful! So many shells and sand dollars! It is very quiet …. Perfect for 2 or 3 days!

Un coin de paradis au bord du Pacifique. Bel accueil par la propriétaire et le personnel avenant. Site exceptionnel, une plage magnifique et très peu achalandée pour de longues marches et d’extraordinaires couchers de soleil, en plus de la belle piscine. De magnifiques chambres dont les immenses fenêtres donnent sur la nature environnante. Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour!

Great beach location, funky smell in our rooms. Pool was nice, but needed repairs on surrounding deck. Breakfast was satisfactory, but staff struggled with communication compared to our other accommodations. Beautiful room and views from room.
