“We had a wonderful stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor is spare, in a good way. Clean and minimal. The food was delicious, and they happily accommodated our request for vegetarian meals. They offered good recommendations for hiking areas. The property caters to cyclists, which we did not realize and have nothing to do with, but it was perfect for us on a couples sightseeing vacation as well. ”

“The hotel is run very efficiently. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Our room (junior suite) was huge. We had a great balcony/terrace, and great view towards the sea. Parking in a safe and sufficiently large parking lot belonging to the hotel was a big plus. Would definitely stay there again. ”

Our hosts were attentive at all times and said many often to let them know if we needed anything, or wanted the dinner menu tweaked in any way. “This is a beautiful hotel, based on an old farm. Our large and very comfortable room was really a separate house, with no walls shared with other guests, and with a large patio. The breakfast was excellent, and all the employees we interacted with were very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying there if you want to experience an agriturismo stay. Overall, this is a great alternative to staying in more expensive (and much smaller hotel rooms in nearby cities). ”

“Super Hebergement, maison en pierres typiques magnifique avec vue sur les montagnes. Déco, et meubles faits par les propriétaires. Personnel adorable, d’une gentillesse hors norme et très très serviable. Le couple anticipe vos moindres besoins/désirs. Petit déjeuner copieux, pour tous les goûts et délicieux. On se sent chez nous au bout de quelques minutes. Il manque juste peut-être une cafetière ou bouilloire dans la chambre.”

“Lovely hotel! Rooms are clean, spacious, and well appointed. The staff is amazing!! Location is tucked away in a quiet area but Besalu is so small you can get anywhere in a 5 minute walk. Wonderful stay would definitely come back!”
