Very well kept hotel in excellent location. Room was very small and tight. You could not walk around the bed without turning sideways. If driving there, navigate to the Hotel Palatonus Parking, you cannot drive to the hotel address, it is on a footpath.

Die Fotos im Netz zeigen nicht den wirklichen Zustand des Hotels. Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen das sieht man an der Einrichtung alles sehr verwohnt. Und ein Badezimmer mit Duschvorhang ist ja wohl auch nicht mehr Zeitgemäß.

Prachtig hotel met veel features uit vervlogen tijden, alhoewel in nood van dringende renovatie. Zorg dat je in de zomer een kamer met AC hebt. Ontbijt lekker en uitgebreid (buffet).

Egy hét a Palatinusban

A reggeli, illetve a vacsora is kiváló volt: változatos és finom, a személyzet is csak dicséretet érdemel. Egy negyedik emeleti szobát kaptunk. Az egész szint iszonyatosan huzatos volt, a kissé erős szél miatt olyan hangosan süvített az emelet, hogy volt amikor nem tudtuk aludni tőle. Az alvást mégsem ez zavarta a legjobban, hanem az, hogy az ágy minden mozdulatunknál nyikorgott. A szomszéd szoba ágyának nyikorgását is hallani véltük. A szoba kissé túlzsúfolt. Illetve a fürdő és a szoba összességeben régies és ódon, ami sajnos nem tette patinássá. Viszont a szálloda önmagában gyönyörű, klassz helyen van, pár lépésre a tértől. Ha legközelebb Pécsett járunk, akkor valószínűleg itt fogunk szállást foglalni, csak egy magasabb kategóriájú szobát fogunk igénybe venni, mert valószínűleg ezzel ezek a 'problemak' kiküszöbölhetőek lesznek.

Great place to stay

Beautiful building, great location. Room was tiny but since I was with my mom we were good. Cute balcony to sit and drink morning coffee or evening wine. Awesome breakfast - so many choices and wonderful service!

Very Pleasant Stay by the Christmas Market

Lovely building with lots of charm, very nice staff, small but adequate room with uncomfortable pillows. Room was clean and stocked with a kettle, tea and instant coffee. Delicious breakfast with nice options.

Central Location and Good Breakfast

Located in the city center. Grand entrance. Friendly Staff. Decent value. Good breakfast buffet. Good Gulyas Soup with lots of bread. Rooms were old and had no AC. Shower had low water pressure. The smell of fried foods from the kitchen permeated throughout the halls and rooms. The carpet was old and stained. But it will cost money to replace.

Langhelg i Pecs

Vi tilbrakte en langhelg i Pécs og bodde på Palatinus. Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhet midt i gågaten med kort vei til alle fasiliteter i byen. Har bodd der flere ganger tidligere. Hotellet er et typisk storslått og gammelt Grand Hotell som ikke er helt oppdatert og kunne vært pusset op, men som tar i igjen på sjarme, vennlighet og service hos betjeningen. Hotellet anbefales.

There was construction going on that was noisy all day. I asked for a iron and iron board and I was told there was none available till the next day, that’s no good if you are going out that night and your clothing is all creased up from your suitcase.

Das Hotel hat eine Top Lage mitten im Zentrum dieser schönen Stadt. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet in einem herrlichen Saal. Das Zimmer war recht klein wie wahrscheinlich beim Bau vor über 100 Jahren üblich aber gut ausgestattet. Der Ausblick war nicht so gut dafür war es ruhig.
